Is the problem with your smart drive related to the recall that is going on with them? The company I got mine through just told us about it but really had no info so we're waiting on more information. Mine likes to shut itself down and change speeds unexpectedly even if my hands are completely still on occasion. Sorry you didn't have access to yours for the trip.
I don’t think so. I got mine in 2018. I only started having issues this year. It honestly sounds to me that the company just really messed up when I sent it in for repairs then it was problem after problem after that. If some of the delays were due to shortages, they never told me that that would have at least helped me understand.
