Dare I say that between Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks, the second generation of the Allman Brothers lived up to the Southern rock standard that Duane and Greg established back in the early 70’s.
This is Warren & Dickey. Derek didn’t join till closer till like 02 but I completely that all lineups between 89-14 recaptured the magic

Ah, 'the good old days, they just don't make them like that, anymore.' Sorry to clue you in, but they said the same thing about the generation before this one. And the generations before that one as well. So, yeah, they DO have bands and music 'like this' anymore. And they always will.
Takes me back to the good old days! What a wonderful time to be alive to hear and see the Allman Brothers from the very beginning (SUMMER 1968) to the very end (January16, 2015).

The Fillmore East album is recocnized by the Smithonian Institute as perhaps the best live recording by an American band that ever existed.....
