I think every time I watch you carve (even on a rewatch!) theres something new I see in how you do things that both impresses and inspires me. Your ability to so quickly establish such symetrical lines and angles, especially around the lip of the bowl into the handle are simply astonishing. Your axe work is so efficient and accurate (ok, I did enjoy the few strikes it took to remove the last of the extra past the end of the handle.) I feel like I'm finally getting more confident in my own axe work, and I definitely remember you telling me about being mindful to engage your pinky in your axe grip, and how much that helped!

Take a lot of practice to get that accurate with an axe. I don't think I have ever hit the exact spot twice in a row. Also noticed how every move you make counts.
