      It’s hard to watch sometimes because the videos have limited time to be produced, and it always feels rushed. So he ends with a not so satisfying artwork in the end. I just feel if he took some more time with every video it would feel less rushed in the end.

      @@wolfie54321 When I don't know every way he is messing up, yea, with the paint bucket with paint coming out, unless he wants to read all about it and get the right paint and the right mix, but that wouldn't make a good video, but its little things where a cursory glance would have told you you're doing it profoundly wrong that just make me feel rage. I get that it can make a good video but there are many points that are just 'please look something up' points, horse wood sculpture recently comes to mind.

    I either research for weeks before I try something, or not at all. I really enjoy Jazza just jumping in without research and playing around with a thing to see what happens, because it encourages me to be more spontaneous and fluid, and not so perfectionistic.
    ETA: I love the dynamic between you and Mrs. Jazza. You’re the enthusiasm and spirit of adventure, and she’s the grounding and practical planning. I think that's one thing that keeps me coming back to this channel. Even when Jazza gets a bit overboard with the TH-camr-y-ness and people start complaining, he sees their comments, takes them into consideration, and just goes back to doing what he does without seeming too dejected. Really shows he cares about what he does and enjoys it, and isn't just trying to do what gets clicks

    I'd like it if you would do a part 2 on some things, where maybe you explore without looking anything up, but then go and do so. There is so much good info freely available for art these days that I think watching a professional artist learn from what is out there would be really cool, plus it would give you another way to help pay forward to others who do this stuff.

    regarding the research thing: at the very least you gotta look into potential dangers or health hazards both for your own safety and for the sake of giving proper warnings for viewers, but beyond that i'd say looking into stuff more deeply would be more fun just so we can see what you're really capable of in a new medium tbh

    • @snafuet
      @snafuet ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Most likely then it won't ever be done. You actually have to spend time mastering craft decently. As for health hazards - very true, I agree. You have to stay safe...

    • @poochy2479
      @poochy2479 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@snafuet i'm not talking about expert level research and artistry, i'm just talking about those instances where not researching a new medium prevented him from really getting a proper start on the project. for example the soap project he mentioned, where he was held back on what he wanted to do with the project because he didn't have the right kind of soap. that sort of thing.

    • @PrincessSixThirteen
      @PrincessSixThirteen ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I very much agree. In the candy and soap videos he did some dangerous things and I feel like those were two of the videos where he went in most blind about the medium. It's fun when he tries new tools without researching them, although I tend to enjoy the part of the videos after he looks up tutorials better, it's another thing to jump headfirst into a craft you know nothing about, not even the basics of how to keep yourself safe.

    I like to see in the beginning of the video where Jazza gives it a dabble when he is mostly clueless. But before the dive I do like to see him do some research and create a nice outcome. Always great to see Mrs. Jazza on the channel, and that she doesn't hold anything back.
    As for the trying things with no research I have two thoughts. First, it is definitely part of the charm and seeing what you'll come up with and how well it will go, whether it happens the way things are meant to or not. However secondly, I feel like there should also be potential time allotted (or at least with the idea of doing a second video after actually researching) to see what you can actually do with the proper knowledge if it all falls apart the first time around.
    It would then show that things don't always work out, however with researching and learning more about the techniques and tools you can grow and create better things.

    I have to say, I watch the channel for the enjoyment of what the projects come out like. This channel is so much FUNNER when he leaves out the research and just wings the whole project!! ¡¡¡¡Keep up the winging art style!!!!

    Soap - candy - cat! And I do love how you just try stuff without necessarily knowing much, that’s super inspiring! But it’s extra satisfying when you then get some input, and show us the difference.
    Also I don’t mind a little bit of clickbaity stuff every once in a while, they are still entertaining and you obviously want it to be worth our time and have enough self awareness to make a funny point out of it.

    I don't mind watching Jazza do some "kinaesthetic learning" in the beginning, just to try stuff out.
    However not learning more from others, before making his final attempt, is really dumb and annoying.

    True, we're here to see you make weird experiments that not even you know if they will work and then see you understand the best method and make something cool. That's the charm of Jazza's art.

    Not doing research or kinesthetically learning as you go is the biggest part of the charm for me as a Jazza fan

    Diving in blind and headfirst is the Jazza method many of us have come to expect and love! It keeps things exciting and spontaneous, and it works towards that Jazza charm. That said, it is also satisfying to see you re-visit art challenges that you wanted to improve and approach it with more research and knowledge.

    You should try redoing the candy video. What Mrs. Jazza had in mind is so cool and I know if you gave it a second try with the knowledge you have now it would be considerably better. That first video was just a dabble, the second one would be the dive

    It broke my heart the way Jazza slumped so sad with the candy art.🥺 I think he should try again. I know he can do it better. Love you Jazza 😍🤩

    J. You are at your best when you are with Ms. J. You are still you, but also more. I thought I had picked my faves on your team, but, honest to god, please include Ms. J more. She is funny and delightful and real. I completely see how you two compliment each other.

    I think the figuring it out on his own is part of the charm of the videos, that being said it would also be fun to see him research anything he's failed at before and try it again with more knowledge.

    It’s definitely part of the charm Jazza to dabble before you dive and learn by experimenting. It makes the video fun and unpredictable. I love your content please keep making it 😌
