    Disclaimer:
I am not a nutritionist or health professional of any kind. My videos are not to be used as diet advice but as a source of vegan recipe inspiration and (hopefully) entertainment. Of course the term healthy is relative, “healthier” is definitely a more accurate description for most of these ideas, but “healthy” makes for a better youtube title haha
    intro 0:00
    INGREDIENTS
#1 Protein Chocolate Chip Cookies 0:51
1 1/2 tbsp pea protein powder or oat flour or small cut oats (10g)
3 tbsp regular flour, spelt flour or wholewheat flour* (20g)
2 tbsp coconut sugar, raw sugar or regular sugar
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp baking powder
    1 1/2 heaping tbsp peanut butter (38g)
    1 tbsp unsweetened applesauce (15g)
1 tbsp non dairy milk (you might need an extra tsp if using wholewheat flour)
    1/4 tsp vanilla
a small handful of dark chocolate chips
→ yields 3 smaller sized cookies
*using wholewheat flour gives the cookies a more rustic flavour, so they end up tasting like chocolate buns almost? not bad haha just hits different
#2 Fried Mango Rice Treats 2:10
1 mango, cut into strips or little rectangles
6-8 small rice paper sheets, if you only have big ones then you’re gonna need less obv
    coconut oil for the pan
    for the sauce:
    1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water
⅓ cup light coconut milk (80ml)
1-2 tsp maple or agave syrup
    ½ tsp vanilla
    a pinch of salt
    → serves 1-2
#3 Peanut Butter Berry Bites 3:52
1/2 cup dates, soaked in water for at least 15 min (~75g)
    1/2 cup frozen raspberries (70 g)
1 cup small cut oats (90g)
    a generous pinch of salt
    ½ tsp vanilla
2 1/2 heaping tbsp peanut butter
1 1/2 tbsp flax seeds, ground or semi ground
    yields ~12 energy balls
#4 Chocolate Shell Zucchini Nicecream 4:37
1 banana, cut into small chunks and frozen
1 zucchini (~200g), cut into small chunks and frozen, also peeled if you wish
1 tbsp flax seeds, ground or semi-ground
    1 tbsp natural peanut butter
    ¼ tsp salt
    ¼ tsp vanilla
    ¼ cup non dairy milk
optional: 1-2 tsp sweetener, I omitted it since we’re adding the chocolate
about ¼ cup dark chocolate chips (40g), melted
    → serves 1-2 (1 as a breakfast - and 2 as a little dessert)
#5 Healthier Banana Split type meal 5:47
    1 banana
4-5 tbsp plain vegan yogurt (thick soy yogurt works best)
    4-5 tbsp homemade coconut cream
    3 cherries, fresh or frozen
a sprinkle of homemade sesame chocolate granola
optional: chocolate sauce (or this almond chocolate sauce: • Vegan Meals I Eat Ever... )
    for the coconut cream:
1 can of full fat coconut milk, chilled in the fridge for 24 hours
1 tbsp agave, maple or rice syrup
    ½ tsp vanilla
    a heavy pinch of salt
    for the granola:
½ cup small cut oats (45g)
2 tsp flax seeds, ground or semi ground
    2 tsp sesame seeds
    a pinch of salt
    2 tsp cocoa unsweetened
    2 tsp coconut oil
    2 tsp maple/agave/date/rice syrup
    → serves 1-2

I recommend this chick pea snack I love!
What I do is a take a can of rinsed chickpeas and toss them in oil and spices or choice. I use olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne, and paprika. I bake them on a lined tray at 375-400F for about 20-23 minutes(or until desired texture) I eat them hot on their own but they would be good on salads and other things.

    a recipe for today :)
    Wonderfully Healthy Chocolate Truffles
Easy-delicious and oh so good for you! 🤍
Slice a date and fill with pistachio (or any nut) butter and chocolate chips
Shut the date and drizzle with honey or maple syrup (I use ethically sourced local spring honey)
Sprinkle with salt and dust with raw cacao powder
They can be refrigerated or frozen for a refreshing summertime treat!
These sweet treats are good inside and out!
I make my own pistachio butter in a strong blender! You can sub any butter. Almond will be caramel-like, cashew will be buttery, and peanut butter will give you a Reesie‘s cup flavor. I use Lily’s or enjoy life semi sweet chocolate chips. They are vegan and sugar free and REALLY good for you.
The healthy fats from the nut butters and chocolate will leave you full and aid healthy hair and skin! Dates are high in vitamins and minerals! The raw cacao, honey, and dates are full of antioxidants. This supports immunity and may reduce the risk of disease (like cancer and heart disease)
Honey also supports less blood triglycerides, lower blood pressure, and improves Cholesterol.
About 83 cal each or 500 cal for six dates.

    • @abigailfrancis9242
      @abigailfrancis9242 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you for this! Will definitely give this frozen yummy-Ness a try soon❤️ we have a lil variant of the same-spilt open a date and remove the seed from it, fill the inside with 5-6 pili nuts. Seal it close by pushing the ends of the date towards each other and voila, a healthy treat that tastes like chocolate 😍☺️

    i have a recipe idea:
this is something i make every now and then but I pretty much eyeball everything
    Walnut & Chocolate Tart (Vegan)
    - half a bar of cooking chocolate
    - half a carton on soya milk or almond
    - about 15 walnuts and 8 dates
So first you blend the walnuts and dates till it can mold if you hold it in your fist ( if it’s too crumbly add more dates if too sticky then add more walnuts)
Then you press it into a cake tin lined with parchment paper ( make it smooth and keep some mixture on the edges so it can hold the chocolate mix) and leave to chill in the freezer while making the chocolate
Get a pan and pour half a carton of soy milk and heat till steamy. Then add chocolate and stir for 3-4 minutes till melted fully, now you will get a mixture like condensed milk and you can pour it into the cake tin.
Leave in fridge for 4 hours ish and then cut it should be smooth and creamy chocolate tart (hope it works for you)

    blueberry “ice cream” recipe:
(sounds kinda weird but it’s amazing)
    - 1 cup frozen blueberries or other small fruit
    - 3/4 cup any milk
    - 2 Tbsp Coconut milk or coconut coffee creamer
Just mix all the ingredients till the milk is kinda like slush. i don’t normally mash the blueberries or anything, but i’m sure you could! it’s sooo good!!

    Hi, Mina
In Bulgaria we have salad called Snezhanka(Snow White)
It consists of Bulgarian yogurt, cucmbers and cottage cheese. Since I am a vegan now, I thought of a plant-based variation:
Soy yogurt, chia seeds, a lil bit of water and sliced cucumbers(like small cubes)
Mix the yogurt with 1/2 ts water, add the chia seeds and let them absorb the water(it's like making chia egg). Once ready, add the cucumbers cubes, mix and season with salt.
I LOVE your chanel and it would be great if you try this in a video🤗

My favorite healthy treat is a healthy chocolate pudding. Honestly this recipe was life-changing for me because now I get to eat chocolate pudding for breakfast. I take half a frozen Banana and half an avocado with a teblespoon of unsweetened cacao powder and some plant based milk and blend it up (not too much milk though, just like a big splash so it gets a pudding like consistency and doesn't turn into a smoothie) and then I serve it with some peanut butter, berries and other toppings of choice. It's just so amazing.

Almond flour, peanut butter, and maple syrup is an amazing quick "cookie" recipe:) So good if you just make and place in the freezer too! Plus choc. chips or pecans are a great add in! :)

Oat flour cookies are my favourite! If you use a food prosessor you can make your own oat flour. I like to exchange 1/4 of the flour for hole cut oats ❤️

Tip: Fry banana-slices in a non-stick-skillet and after you've flipped them once and they've turned brown on both sides, put a piece of vegan feta on top and leave it on there for a bit (but don't wait too long because it will melt). This would also work in the oven.

just a tip is to add coconut oil to the chocolate you melt so when it hardens it cracks more cleanly and melts in your mouth easier. it’s amazing

This is how I make my quick protein single serving ball: 1tbsp protein powder (vanilla or unflavoured recommended), 1 big tsp peanut butter, 1/2 tsp honey, tiny pinch of salt, a bit of water if the consistency is dry. Mix, form into a ball and cover in cacao powder.

You should look into getting silicone mats for baking instead of parchment paper! It's sustainable and saves money! :)

u actually don’t need to leave the rice paper soaking :p just let it get wet on the outside and as it sits it will absorb the water and get more malleable :p just so it doesn’t get all wobbly and hard to handle

Hi! Just so you know you don’t need to soak the rice paper for so long. Just dip it so all the rice paper is wet and transfer to plate, and it will naturally become soft to roll☺️☺️❤️
