Sagreras was a brilliant composer. His knowledge of theory, art of composition, and gift of melody were truly remarkable. Instead of spending his days writing great concert works, he devoted himself to compiling hundreds of small works for the benefit of students learning the guitar. Each one of them is a magical gem of music.
