- We take you for a walk around the St Agnes Beacon Caravan and Motorhome Club Site on the north coast of Cornwall.

Thanks for watching our videos. We include all things to do with motorhomes, caravans and the great outdoors. We mainly tour the UK and camp around 80 nights per year in our 2017 Swift Bolero. We offer advice, tips and tricks, review campsites and associated products or services. We also occasionally make videos about other trips we take without the motorhome.

Check in was simplicity itself. The wardens (just one couple) were friendly, helpful and clearly had a passion for the place. It is a small campsite that makes a big impression 😃 Trev

The beacon is on a ridge of land with 360 degree panoramic views. If it’s windy and rainy you know it. If the sun comes out the whole landscape changes 😃 Trev

We loved it here. So friendly and no push and shove for a pitch. However you need to be brave when towing as the site is on a long, narrow but beautiful road. We will be going back 😃 Trev

Nice one Trev! Our all time favourite site. We love it their sooo much. The only downside is the entrance is a tad narrow when we used to have a double axle caravan. We’ve had some interesting storms up there too as we always try and park at the top of the site. Great video. Cheers, Oliver.

I pitched by the badger set last time I was there (15 years ago ish) evenings where interesting when they all came out to play.
We didn’t see the badgers. One of my favourite creatures. This site really had a good feeling about it. We loved it there and definitely want to go back. 😃 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping I think it would be the top alcove at 3:02 but it was 15 years ago, the site warden just said it was a special pitch when he suggested the pitch to me.

They certainly pack them in on that site, some vans a little too close to each other for my liking. Great views though and in a nice part of the area. cheers Martin
It’s a more random layout with all grass and natural landscape rather than regimental rows. We didn’t feel overcrowded but the wardens admitted that this year it’s the busiest he has ever seen it. In spite of the site being full, it was the quietest and friendliest so far on this tour. Thanks for watching Martin 😀 Trev

Definitely one of my favourite sites from the CAMC and up there with Bunree and Pembrey. It’s a joy to visit these places with a motorhome and experience the wonderful scenery. Thanks so much for watching and your comments 😃👍🏻 Trev

You do have to be a club member to stay in most of the sites but there are some that allow non members and even tents. The membership costs £45 per year so it’s not that much when you consider there is access to a long list of sites and endless technical and travel advice from experts in all aspects of touring. I want to camp there!!! Sooo can a person rent an rv if they travel over from another country? If I ever was to visit, I think it would be great to rent one and stay at these awesome places!!
Yes you can rent RVs here. It’s a very popular way of camping and not having to buy a rig outright. We still have 2 more campsites to come on this trip. They are awesome too 😃😉🚐 Trev
A nice site. I think that if/when we get Koby sorted we shall be using the CLs etc for weekends. Can you tell me why that all the motorhomes /campers cover there cab windows and the caravans have there front windows clear.?
Campervans and motorhomes cab area has single glazed glass and use silverscreens mainly to reduce condensation in the cold mornings. We keep our silverscreen in the van all year round too keep the van cool in the summer for us and the dogs and warm in the winter. The cab is the coldest part of the van. On caravans the front windows are usually double glazed and these problems are minimised so internal blinds are sufficient 😃🚐 Trev
