It was pretty windy to be fair 😂
Was down there last Friday. it was a lot calmer then. Today I've literally been holding my garden fence down!
Has to be said though.. that although a bit of a thigh workout.. the views from the pepper pot are incredible! Us Cornish are so lucky to call Kernow our home!

Yea there’s no way if would’ve stayed over night in the van. I went home and back out first thing as this beach is only 10 minutes from me

You never disappoint with your videos shaun. The power off the sea is pretty awesome. I'm over in penzance and I do t think it's that bad really so it must be the North Coast that's getting the worse off it.

Just been to porthtowan and its mad there. There's sand and sea water being blown miles inshore too. Not seen much damage yet but there could be with how its shaping up.

Just starting to catch up on all the content I’ve missed after having the power cut off since Friday 10am.. she really was a bitch but what a beauty of a storm. Like you say all the hype just makes you want to go and witness it even more haha! From a safe distance of course 🤔😂

How long you lived in Cornwall? The worst place to be is on the Headland ,PLEASE folks DONT climb up cliffs in Cornwall in these conditions we have had lot's of landslides over the winter it's so dangerous.
Loved the video.... everything about it was enjoyable, even down the the subtle music! Thank you for the upload!! So glad they rebuilt the Monkey Hut after it was washed away and destroy back in the storms of 2013... it's always a spectacular sight to see the waves crashing over it in a storm!! So nice to see it here.... ty.
Also, was it high spring tide today? Only the harbour is really high.... also surprised it didn't flood like it normally does.

Nice one Shaun was a rough day i went to Gwithian at 11am was bad. I think back in the 70s three people got washed off the harbour in Portreath and drowned. Thanks again for another top video.
That’s terrible that the go washed out to sea. That’s why I stayed clear of the breakwater because you never know. The hardest part for me on that hill was holding the camera steady

It's horrendous in the caravan ATM Shaun and that's inland so I can imagine what that was like near the coast. That concrete structure on the breaker is that where people gathered????
