I have to say you did a great job explaining the game! I own it but I haven't played in a while so needed a refresher and your systematic aproach to the explaination was really good thanks!

Thank you, Gamer Genie. Helpful and informative! The rule book can be difficult to navigate, but you made it easy and entertaining. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for a clear and concise explanation of the rules, buddy! Keep up the good work! :) I just got the mobile device version of this game and even with the built-in manual, I was still having a little trouble. But, you pretty much answered all of my questions! Thank you! :)
@@floodkevin4716 It's a dice game that's really meant to be played with friends, so it seems more harsh when you play by yourself. 😉 I haven't played in a while (probably because I kept losing! 😜), but I _think_ there's a trick to it. You really have to get a feel for the odds (which, of course, are _really_ stacked against you), but even then, I think the balance is a bit off. I'm not really sure what could be done to fix it. Again, if you were playing the table top version with friends you could have some "house rules" that could make things a little easier, but that's not something you can do with the digital version. At any rate, good luck in your quest to defeat the forces of cosmic evil!
@@CybershamanX thanks for your reply, I know it's been a bit! I'm getting more and more from this video for sure. I didn't even have the fundamentals yet! Be safe!

Thank you so much Subscribed :D Couple of questions: 1. What happens after a monster appears and there are no cards on the table where you can place a monster card? (some of the cards do not have that white outline where you can place a monster, or can you place it on every card?) 2. In which order do we place a monster card when a monster appears? Thank you again

Thanks GG! I thought you did resolve the Mythos card at the start at the game? Never mind page 15 says that you do not do the Mythos phase at the beginning of the game.
Then you choose a card without a white box and place it underneath the lowest section on the card and count it as an extra section that you need to complete on top of all the other symbols on that card.
This is great!! I especially liked how you showed how to set up-so many channels leave that out of their videos. I like the slow pace which gives me time to pause it and digest information too!! The only thing I could recommend is getting a pointer so we know exactly which symbol you're pointing to and maybe something witj the lighting to reduce glare. Keep up the great work!!! Subscribed!!!
I have a question now. i just got my copy and unseen forcess and playing but there's one cars that's confusing the heck out of me so;. Im confused on a particular task. So this card it's the aid card and it shows 3 magnifying glass, then 6, then 9. I only have 6 dice. And hacent unlocked other dice other than a red (I'm using unseen forcess expansion) my question is. 1. i managed to actually roll 3 magnifying glass on the first roll. What am I suppoed to do after that? Do i take the rolls I just did and it back to my dice pool? Cause how do you complete 6 die with fewer? This card is kinda confusing me 😂
Jill Sandwhich you do not get any used dice back unless you have a character or card that says otherwise. It’s theoretically possible to finish recruiting aid with just green dice but that would be extremely difficult the addition of the red, yellow or white dice would increase your chances greatly as well as having other investigators with you on in the same room card so they can hold dice for you for your next roll.
@@GamersGenieBoardGames right i get that. But from there after the first 3 i passed on that card, am i supposed to go to the next one immediately? So from what I get is that you need a crap ton of die/ people that can manipulate it pretty much

Great video! You made a game with a 25 page rule book easy to learn. Now I don't have to read it as I teach my friends. They just need to watch it.

The answer to your 1st question is. If there’s no white monster space then you and your team mates can Decide which location to place the monster.
As for the order you should draw and place them one at a time.

Thanks GG! I thought you did resolve the Mythos card at the start at the game? Never mind page 15 says that you do not do the Mythos phase at the beginning of the game.
Some mythos cards have special rules on when they activate so it won’t always be at the beginning of the phase.
What happens if a monster appears and no rooms on the field has the white box?
