  • Knowing that I needed to start organizing my shop I decided to start with my orbital sandpaper storage to go on my French Cleat wall. I designed a quick storage cabinet in Sketchup and spent some time putting it together using 3/4" birch plywood for the box and 3/16" plywood for the shelves.
    Stay tuned for many more videos on this subject as I have LOTS of organizing to do!

    Excuse me but... 4 year olds with boo boos are a BIG deal! Just ask them! You are clearly a caring person. You take care of your injured child and then you bring out your lonely dado stack! This is one of our new favorite builds of yours. The precision of the build is awesome. the shelves fit perfect and it looks great!

    I just found this while searching for a solution for storing my sand paper. Currently its being kept in any one of six locations around my garage and always inconvenient to try and find. This solution will be perfect as it will finally have a proper home to live in and I'll be able to see if I'm running short of any grit before I find out by seeing an empty packing container. Thank you for the idea.

      On mine I have actually found it easy to just grab the shelf and slide it out to then grab the paper. That sander is now my “number 2” sander as I finally got around to buying a Festool sander. • @LTDWoodworks
      @LTDWoodworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, just looking for clarification on a couple of items. On the second page of your plans where I believe it shows the shelf inserts, I cannot read the numbers/writing on both sides as they are cut out. Can you tell what it says? Also, what is the point of the semi-circle 2” wide on the 5-3/4 piece? Lastly, on page 5 (Top & Bottom pieces) what is the centre point of that 3/4” Dado? It sea,s as though one side is bigger than the other?

    • @LTDWoodworks
      @LTDWoodworks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mikecardinal7706 well shoot. Sorry about that. When I get home I will make some changes and re upload the plans making sure everything is readable for ya. I’ll let you know when it’s ready 👍 For now the half circle is just so it would be a bit easier to grab the stack of sand paper. I actually did not cut that out on my shelves and have had no problem grabbing and sand paper. So basically that cut is optional.
