Those outboard height adjustable stabilizers on the RXP255 are a god send. The only thing it's missing is additional steering fins off the back that turn along with the jet drive. Add those and this thing would handle even better in a straight line and while turning. Once up on plane, hit the trim up 1 or 2 notches to get a bit more of the front half of the Doo out of the water to reduce drag at speed.
That’s it, worlds first K20 swapped ski. Kyle, Honda made turbo jetskis a few years ago. Look for one of those. There’s one for sale in Colorado right now.
You need one of those!! I've had some of the best days of my life riding skis and snowmobiles with friends. Snowmobiles are the ultimate but the season is so short.

I’d still wear the helmet with a visor that way no bugs blind you at high speed and you’re able to see clearly and comfortably. The same as in a motorcycle

I’m glad that thing didn’t buck you off, definitely make sure to take all the safety precautions when riding those high power jet skis. Those guys were generous to let you use their stuff but not very mindful of your safety. It’s like they wanted you to be their test dummy for their ski. Don’t take anyone’s word on overlooking gear or steps to ensure safety just cause they’re confident. Good job on the skis tho man!! 👏🏼 👏🏼

That was mind blowing to watch!! My family is still rocking our 1996 Yamaha wave raider 1100, which tops out at like 60-65 mph. I thought that was fast. Now people are building 1000 hp monsters, capable of 100+ mph. CRAZY!!
That was incredible to see that ski pull away from another ski going 70-80 mph! It’s really cool going that fast on water... Until you are thrown off and hit the water. You can easily break your neck, back, pelvis, ribs or all of the above. Kyle, please don’t ever do that again without the proper safety equipment!
These skis are sick! I’m the guy with the orange action marine boat in the background who was just out on the river running my boat that runs 93mph that day and ran up on these guys while they were running these skis! it’s amazing to get that speed out of these little sleds but Thats what a turbo can do for a motor! ….Go boosted!!!!!

Yeah a helmet is definitely a must, imagine hitting a bird with your bare face at that speed xD
Imagine slapping the water coming off at 100, breaking your spine
Shoot, a mosquito would blind you at that speed. If you come off that ski going 100, you're in the hospital if you don't have good PPE.
Helmet can internally decapitate you if ya fall off. Same reason you don’t wear a helmet cliff diving.
