i agree
1. Spending gems randomly in vip/merchant shop
2. Not investing early into gathering commanders
3. Only focus on buildings required for city hall 25, later go and finish others u need for war
4. Spending gems on arrows (be patient, a lot of arrows is available from various events)
5. Dont use speedups daily. Save and try to push some events.
6. Push Expedition mode as much as possible, early it helps a lot
7. Dont spend AP bottles for forts/barbs daily
8. Never join council or be r4 of the main alliance in the kingdom, it will ruin ur game experience. Find couple of friends and have fun playing and fighting alongside em. :)

And one most important thing is going for a top 3 finish in any event and not having resources and speedups for it , you always need to calculate your resources/speedups and check your chances

I've done a lot of mistskes, since I played by accident 2 years ago. I didn't learn or try to find out how the game works
Looking at the gear mistakes I'm glad I'm going archers. We have access to a pretty legit set.

I have crafted (Shio's return shoe + Sacred grip glove).but added Iconic to them.
With iconic they are nice!
Shio’s return not neccessarily bad choice, especially if u prefer defense over attack. For the 2 piece inf eternal empire set, go with helm and gloves. Shio boots recipe is easily buyable in lost canyon store (unlike the inf eternal empire boots set which must be bought randomly with gems in vip store, random ceroli reward, golden kingdom, ian ballads) , therefore u can refine your shio’s return easier and faster than eternal empire boots.
The other def inf gloves is sacred grips, which also shared the same random drop pool with eternal empire:ceroli, golden kingdom, ian ballads. But slightly easier since temple guardians and random equipment keys drops them. But still takes forever! Maybe lucerne lvl 50 drops sacred grip recipe. Thus refining sacred grips and eternal empire takes a long time
That is a good point but i don't think f2ps and low spenders should be refining at all unless it is their only march :/

Thanks a lot Mikey! Richard is one of the WORST commanders for garrison. Early game use commanders like Charles/YSG/Sun Tzu late game YSS/Zenobia/Theodora are good but garrison role is only for the high spenders 👍

Not gonna lie I was a noob for sure 😅 Made many mistakes back in the day but we learn 💪
here it s about play style. Edward is verry good bcs if he have expertise after use a skill 50% counterattack. A lot of players use him and give health and speed for archers. It s not bad, it s bad for inf players or cavs and invest on him.

My mistake was a level 50 ysg but I don't have a cavalry match or archer march so I use ysg as a primary till I get something better as a primary

I’ve forged about 5 pieces of epic equipment, and 3 were special talented when I forged them. The special talented ones were: fanatic’s tasets, karuak’s humility, and Quinn’s soul

I made genghis 5511 for kvk 2. I usually do well against other cavalry but I can’t fight anyone who uses infantry 😭😭😭😭😭
Yup.. Infantry is strong against cavs :) And cavs strong against archers and archers against inf :)
1. Don't ever swarm structures with the whales if the structure has more than 1M troops inside. Whales can do that because they have better crystal technology/ equipment/ VIP and can keep training troops but as f2p, you'll take wayyy too many deads and it's not sustainable. Made that mistakes too many times, just don't do it. :')

@@ramos_pinho117 I could say the same about being zeroed 😂 Swarming a Zeno /Theo /Jadwiga with 1 million troops is suicide. You could try when there are less than 200K but they can immediately reinforce with 5-7 marches so it's risky.
Would you say 5 rings 3 horns 1 dagger 1 mora webb as the best combination for 5 marches?

For me, the biggest mistake was not understanding the time scale of this game. It can take 1.5 years to 2 years for s F2P or low spender to max out tech and buildings and have enough legendary commanders at high enough skill levels.
That is why I wasted many Golden Heads on commanders JUST because I wanted them ASAP (e.g. I used universals to max out Cao Cao).
Oh.. You are correct richo. Most players don't realize how long does it take to max out your buildings your tech etc.. And it is not their fault tbh.. It is unusual for people who never played these type of mobile games before.

I have a glitch everytime I try to get reasources like use a 500k reasources thing it doesn’t give to me but I keep losing reasources so now I can’t even play the game because of it

I dont think crafting shio is a bad thing. Yes it costs more materials but you can't just pick up blueprints that easy. My account is 500 days and I dont have enough epic prints to talent them all. My Shio was crafted day 350. I don't see it as a waste.
The uncertainty of the future is what you pay for. Who knows if tomorrow you might just think about not playing at all.

First legendary I crafted was Shio's, got lucky and it talented lol

I dumped 56 universals to get 5511 charles in kvk1, not sure if i regret it or not but its for sure my biggest mistake
I dropped heads to get him to 5511 too in kvk1 too, no regrets. I got to use him in kvk1 and he’s still in the line up. Barely targeted.
Yeah He is a great primary for early kvks but i think it is still not worth investing 🧐
That was not a mistake. Any universals moving forward will be.
For me Shio is not that bad ( but not the best of cause).
The reason is it’s the easiest one to get special talent due to the blue print is easy to get, especially for old players that pass several KVK.
If something is easy to get in Rise Of Kingdoms, it is not a great item 😂

Crafting set boot will be best way to do. But for low spender it just hard and take lot of time to get it for multiple march that all.

Shios are actually the best you can get. For the set boots you need to do a full egg event(48k gems) while you get the shios for free. And I shouldnt even talk about how much cheaper is to refine them
My big mistake as a low spender was not buying the Forest Gardian set when that could be both.

I did not see any content anywhere about the buying of the set. I think new players should be warned. That when it comes buy the thing. For you will regret it if you do not.
It toke me then about +400 days to get the set completed.
But that is my homble opinion.
Mistakes I’ve made:
1) wasted healing speed ups in ark
2) wasting gold heads when running out of gold stars to upgrade commanders
3) wasting gems on rss
4) wasting gold head on cao cao (same as video)
5) wasted material on Shio’s (same as video)

I'm a terrible player 😹 I spend all my gold head to many commanders to make them 5511 instead of focus on one to maxed help me what I have to do avoid this same mistake
Well.. some commanders are amazing with 5511.. Leo, Constantine etc, We have bunch of guides about commanders and pairings and minimum investments so maybe take a look at those and decide which pair you can afford and aim for them :)

Well, I dont think crafting a legendary equipment would be a mistake now ( any legendary equipment at all excluding the cavlary staff ), cause u would be getting iconic stat boosts, so for sure legendary piece would be way better than epics now!!!!
