      @brolickscholar3083 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Facts!! If you remember their career matchups. Mitch always gave Michael Jordan a hard game and often bested Jordan in points. Not always but on many occasion. Mitch almost as tall as Jordan and that made a difference. Jordan was used to being the biggest guard in the East besides Steve Smith who also gave MJ that work! Derek Smith used to scare the shit out of Michael Jordan too.

    • @chilling8987
      @chilling8987 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@brolickscholar3083 No. Steve Smith got clumped by Jordan in the 1997 playoffs. In 1992 Jordan averaged 45 on his head.
      Gerald Wilkins was 6'6 and Jordan always abused him. Harper was 6'7 and Jordan averaged 40 on his head in the playoff twice.
      Reguler season is nothing like playoffs.

      Drex was better too. So was Penny, for a few years. Dumars for a couple of years. I might take Spree in the mid 90s. Miller had a good team and stayed for very long time. He was always very good, rarely great.

      Miller is a undimensional player, but a very good one. You can mention a lot of star SGs and the far majority can be considered better players than Miller. Like Ray Allen for example, people already forgot the guy, lol But he surpassed Miller in every possible way. One big mistake of the Jordan fanboys is how they praise Miller and Drexler as "good SGs", to give examples of decent "matchups" against their God MJ. BUt the reality is that Miller was a pitiful defender and Drexler is a swingman, not a proper SG. Jordan faced weak compeition in his position (Richmond included), the only decent matchup he had was against Dumars and that only happened because the Pistons basically played zones against him (the only realistic way to defend a superstar, 1 on 1 are just too easy).

    • @slipamo4309
      @slipamo4309 7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Vernon Maxwell was a SG that guarded Jordan extremely well. Guy was so insane that it would get into Jordan's head and throw him off.

      stupid jordon jockers. Larry Bird got got thrown out when he threw the ball at Bill Laimbeer who kept trying to clobber him in the paint, he got ejected, as it’s an automatic rule that if you throw the ball, even if you miss the target, you’re gone.
      Michael jordon merely received a technical for throwing the ball at Mark Johnson’s head because Jackson was putting the glove all over him. and this was in the regular season. Bird got ejected from a PLAYOFF game. Larry Bird received more than his fair share of preferential treatment from the officials, but even HE couldn’t get out of an automatic rule.
