the 30 years war was infact a 'great reset' something we are going through right now, the world is going to change into something completely new for everyone of us and as usual, we have no say in the outcome because we forget or never knew our path to this point in time,
This is a fantastic talk and so so important. I'm in the middle of reading The Brave New World and the historyless bubble it describes is haunting, it traps people into unchanging modes of thinking and being - a complete blandening and stagnation of the human enterprise. We must maintain and strengthen our connection to our past as a species in order to understand ourselves, our condition, and our future.
Without knowledge of history one simply has a limited view of human progress and hence innovation. Couple that with the dumbing down of the us and we can be very easily led by the manipulator overlords into increasingly immoral ignorant and fighting amongst ourselves. Sad state we’re in right now.
Recorded history is only a partial reflection on the times it represents. Even now we are untangling new ideas about the past, changing the concept of time itself 👍

I always see Mckenna's rap about the importance of history to be more about his whole "transcendental object at the end of time" bit, but its clear he sees the whole picture. This concept of a society whos relation to the past has been cut too soon is like the image of the fetus being strangled by its own umbillical cord, important resources have been cut off completely, and they were cut off by the instrument that was meant to provide them.

Critical race theory?? You can't be serious right now. You're dangerously naive if you think that's a good theory to teach children or people in general. Yes, teach them HISTORY, not Marxist propaganda. Crt is nothing but poison that divides people. (I'm sure you already know that though)

@@WendyAchatz this is great that you are learning about this dark aspect of the culture and history. I don't think CRT is the only lens through which you can learn about that history. arguably it is a very problematic lens that makes MORE problems for us (this is the culture wars debate). but I think it is good to read it and integrate it, so you understand its value and limitation. I personally think it is more problematic and politically ideological than it is useful for positive change.
again and again I`m just baffled by terence memory, how he can recall such stories with such ease.

Hey! I'm looking for the short video you had called All Knowledge is Contrast, with Alan Watts. Do you still have it? Love the content
Is the quotation in the thumbnail something Terence said? If so, where? Just curious.
Thank you for that video, makes sense.
