This interview was conducted in Harlem on April 15, 1967, with students of Allah (Hon. Clarence 13X), the founder of the 5 Percenters.

"This film was shot in New York City on May 1st, 1968 when three Black Vietnam war veterans told us how they felt about the war, poverty and the black revolution, and on April 15th, 1967, when we filmed the people of Harlem and one section of the largest anti-war demonstration ever held in the United States-the black contingent that marched from Harlem."

I was on 125st the other day building with some original 5% brothers-Hasheem and Hakim-and they told me straight up, that they recognozed The Honorable Elijah Muhammad as Leader, Teacher and Guide. Hasheem told me that the whole NGE thing came many years later. They had no concept of that in the 60's, they were all, either out The Temple or bros that came in from the street. Priceless! I was out there with the Salaam News Paper and the old 5% brothers and the old Fruit was complementing me about how old school and authentic the paper was. One of the old 5% said to me, "this is exactly how the Messenger taught it". Islam as taught by our leader and teacher, Messenger Elijah Muhammad is on its way back. Time to clear up all the confusion.
Wow, what an incredible clip. I wonder to this day if there is any footage of the Father, Justice, first borns of Mecca & Medina, early rallies, brothers building, etc. To hear those brothers understanding is a real eye opener to those who don't get it. ***** The reason is because all blacks migrated from the south to the North back in the day. Clarence 13 x is from Danville Virginia hence the accent differences.
General Zod Thanks for mentioning that. I kind of thought that was the reason. From what I understand the Italians are credited with creating the NYC accent. When I hear New Yorkers talk no matter what race or ethnic group I can hear the words being pronounced the same way.
I like the orignal General Zod better in Superman 2 I think it was with Reeves.

He never "hijacked" the teachings of Islam. He was part of the Harlem 7 Temple in the NOI and broke apart from them because of his not agreeing with much of what Elijah Muhammad taught concerning this very subject. Ajaxnoord, The 5percent concept of the devil is not hard to defend, it's hard to understand and the reason it's hard to understand is because someone INTENTIONALLY made it so by introducing SPOOKISM, (superstition and false interpretation) into the mathematics (nature) of the Divine (spiritual or higher forces). Throughout the OldWorld the original people of the earth understood and expressed a force and power that lead to the corruption of the divine. For example In Kemit you have Set from where you get SATAN and Set represents a force that leads to the destruction of man from his status. The "Hebrews" like most other original people understood this force that was an enemy to man's DIVINITY and STATUS and because the Judeo Christian philosophy predominates the world the English word DEVIL was used to express this force and power to western societies. So the word arises from the bible but the bible intentionally misrepresents what a devil is. In the Torah you barely see Devil. WHY? Because the original hebrews understood that the "devil" was any one or thing that lead to the corruption of man and took him from his DIVINE nature or his existence. The hebrews called a devil an opposed and since they understood themselves as Elohyms representives (God's) they saw anyone who opposed there capacity to be the Divine Representitives of the Elohym as harmful, an opposer, an enemy or as present day stated a devil. It was the self seeking theologians who didn't want the definition of the devil understood.
But let's get to the truth. Let's deal with facts. Man is MORE than an ANIMAL. People say that to make excuses for there beast like behaviour. It allows them to negate there responsibility to act as righteous beings. We, humans, are beyond animals because we have the capacity to say I apologize. We can make amends when we mistreat others and there property. Animals don't do this. Humans can reflect upon themselves. Why, because it allows us to ascend into our higher nature.
Now this is the way we are SUPPOSE to behave. Although we can behave like dinosaurs don't mean we are SUPPOSE to. The reason we comb our hair is because we want to be our best. We brush our teeth for good hygiene and to smell our best. We bath and groom because we are Divine and see to be our best self. That's why we get angry when our mates cheat because we expect them to be righteous and honor their oath to us. This shows we are righteous by nature. Righteousness is our best self, our Divine self. Now we have been made into the best form and when we act as such we see the blessings of it but when we allow oneself to be taken from that status we experience the penalty. Simple math. Now the first people on this earth were black and within those people were and are ALL in ALL. Within them are the highest characteristics and the lowest. Also within them is the GENESIS (GENES) to make all the different forms of man. In truth all the different "races" are just the different manifestations of the ORIGINAL MAN whom the hebrews called ADAM. Now black or darkness represents something. Take it or leave it. And the world is in this unnatural, perverted condition because we have ignored the SIGNIFICANCE OF BLACKNESS. BLACKNESS is the ORIGIN and GENESIS of all of us. Who did this? The gottdam devil, and its his nature to oppose his root and dishonor the very nature of things. In other words it natural for him to be unnatural. And as he influences the world he takes everything else out of its nature. Don't take my word, just look at the earth, it's people and those who established the world order and Damn sure ain't black people who are in touch with there root.
