    Some mixers that split audio for you (like the Aviom A360) only require you to use a stereo/aux cable into the iRig instead of using an audio splitter. It has ports for both the in-ear cable and another stereo out cable. Pretty nice!

    • @Theryanprim
      @Theryanprim  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah it’s nice that they have two separate ports now for both an aux cable and a headphone cable!

    What if the Allan and Heath ME1 already has a 1/4” out in addition to the 1/8” jack that works simultaneously. Do you still need that splitter?

    • @Theryanprim
      @Theryanprim  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I prefer the splitter because if you don’t the gain is hard to control on the irig duo
      The splitter somehow gives you more freedom when it’s plugged in on both sides

    Hi, great video. Just a question. Would using the headphone output on the iRig device for monitoring work in place of using a splitter at the input? What would be the difference?

    • @Theryanprim
      @Theryanprim  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s correct you can use the headphone output as well. It all comes down to your preference
      The only difference is when you use a splitter and you have your ears plugged into one side and then have the irig plugged into the other it allows for more flexibility on the gain level
      The splitting of the headphone reduces the overall gain that’s sent to the irig

    I just finished recording a quick sample test video using the iRig Pro Duo IO with my built in iPhone camera app. I used one input for AG and the other for vocal. Went back and listened and one was panned hard right and the other was panned hard left. Is this the case for you? Will it do this when I record a full stereo in ear mix as well? I recognize I may have to use the app iRig Recorder and select how I want my tracks recorded (summed mono, stereo, etc) is this what you do to record your audio into your phone using the iRig Pro Duo?

    • @Theryanprim
      @Theryanprim  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It splits it up if you use both channels and makes them mono. So when I record my IEM mix I use both channels so it’s a stereo result

    Thank you for this video!
    If my setup is two microphones at the same time (Mic for guitar, another Mic for the singer, for instance), and I'm filming video with my iPhone - will the recorded video be in Stereo?

    • @Theryanprim
      @Theryanprim  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      When doing it that way the XLR is just a regular mono mic in
      So it would split them separate

    • @Yogi_guitar

      But when you transfer it to another device, let’s say you want to edit the video, for instance. The audio file of the video is in stereo? Thanks!!!

    Heyy bro!! I have a question So…I don’t have the IRigPro DUO but I do have the new IRig pro I/O which I Guess Records in Mono so I was wondering on how You Record in Mono with that particular Device and I was Also Asking if you ever Used that particular Device Befor Or Not? Let me go Bro.

      I have a similar video to this one that shows you how I record with my irig 2 and that records in Mono, if you follow those directions on that video that should show you how to do it. Also, I’m sure the rig pro is awesome as well. I’ve never used it before.

I was gonna use it today but I was Nervous that I was Gonna Hook it up the Wrong way Especially Hooking it Up last minute and making sure that it’s gonna work 100% because I Originally Shoot my Videos with my GoPro and I plug my GoPro Adapter into my GoPro then Plug my Headphone Cable into the Adapter then the Other End of that Cable into Our Me1 in Ear system which works Perfectly but I REALLY wanna Try my IRigPro for the first time at church.

    Is there a way to take out the click in the mix?

    • @Theryanprim
      @Theryanprim  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes, you would just have to record from a different in ear mix, so if you have a spare wireless pack, or a spare Behringer P6, you can make your mix just like how you’re in your mixes, and then record off of that in your mix (just remove whatever you don’t want).
      But as far as taking click out of your individual mix, whatever you are listening to is what is going to be recorded into your phone
