The actuator that changes from hot to cold is located behind glove box. This one switches from inside to outside and other one switches floor - mid - windshield. You probably have to replace the one behind a glove box
Please help. I got a 97 Buick PA ultra and can not get the defrost to blow air. Floor and mid vents ok. Just no defrost. Plenty of heat. Where and what actuator needs replacing?
I'm struggling getting that black panel off. I took off the 4 obvious screws but something else is holding it and i can't figure it out. Without taking that out I'm not sure i can do this myself. Any suggestions?

With my car the driver side is normal but on my passenger side the car seat is hot, what do I do? No matter if the AC is turned to hot or cold, the seat is always hot.

@@dannypowers4995 the blend door motor. It's common on GMs to fail. I had a 94 lesabre with that issue years ago. The dash will need to be removed.
Good video. It's a good idea to test the device and install before reassembling the panel under the dash to make sure everything is working properly.

Clicking sound can indicate a bad actuator. They have plastic gears inside that break.
is an actuator the same part you replaced? I believe you called it a 'door air blender' . Thanks

Sounds like your car has seat warmers? And one is stuck on
@@skyfly51 Sorry, I meant my AC both comes out different temperature. The driver side could come out heat but the other one comes out cold.

Your issue is with the mode actuator instead of the blend actuator. You're not going to have fun fixing that. The dash has to come off.
I have to do the blend doors and mode on mine and I am not looking forward to it. 😬
My passenger blend door actuator constantly changes position does that mean the actuator is bad??
