I remember hearing Apocolypse Dreams through headphones for the first time and thinking Lennon is reincarnated. Beautiiful. I love this version of Apocolypse dreams, perfect on a Sunday morn.
We used to play acoustic covers on Feels Like We Only Go Backwards and I never thought Impala gonna be so big these days. It was kinda underground lovely band for a heart warming
I love this session with all my heart and soul. My favorite band (Tame Impala) and my personal hero (Kevin Parker). This is the best era of all. Just love forever! Just love for him.
This is when I was really digging tame impala .. use to watch this performance all the time. I hate to be that guy , and I’m happy for Kevin’s success, I really am .. but something got lost with this project after “Currents” was released..
I guess man I like Kevin’s new stuff just as much as his rock stuff. But that’s because I group up with disco and R&B and stuff and found a second love in psych rock
Wow this is nice reminds me of 60's music undertones. I like them Should get air play on SPARK radio and NPR World Cafe. It is different and interesting.
@Name Face i love tame impala, but i don’t listen to him that much anymore. im listening to the heavier stuff like King Gizzard, Oh Sees, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Slift, etc.
@@alexmalch yes! i saw them at Thalia Hall in Chicago back in April. great band… wish they were more actively releasing music though. if we’re gonna mention Ty Segall, you gotta give the other guys credit too. Chad Ubovich holding down the low end of things, and Charlie Mootheart ripping on guitar.

It's Ironic seeing the albums called Lonerism

The transition from the epic journey and lush soundscape of Apocolypse Dreams straight into Elephant is almost comical lol

Tight
Elephant is like Black Sabbaths War Pigs, mixed with a Doors song, add in John Lennon singing.

Love how he has to speak about the mixer, whilst probably already knowing he’d ditch him for the future 😄

Roland Edirol PCR 500
How does they get that drum sound around 6:10 - 7:00 does he run the drum signal through a phaser?

E minor, maybe has a seventh or smth, but is surely just an e minor
