Actually its logical from Sasuke side to destroy Konoha in this situation and with Obito manipulations(he said truth about Itachi when Sasuke was mentaly weak after battle with him), all of us would do the same decision, so dont blame Sasuke for hating far from perfect Konoha which bullied Uchihas and moved them to the rebellion by own actions to them, especially watching on whole situation and quite reasonable motives(from Sasuke side in that moment when he was easy to manipulate and was hocked, loved his clan and etc.)

@@ju5e3 Not to mention the insane amount of innocent casualties that would result from not only the coup de tat itself, but the inevitable power vacuum, invasion and possible war. The uchiha had every right to be upset about being oppressed, and they weren;'t really "selfish" as Obito claimed, but their actions were unfortunately the result of a very violent reality. No matter what decision was made, tragedy was guaranteed. It was indeed an impossible choice given the context. I wouldn't call it heroic or anything. But Itachi's dilemma is among the most nuanced that people could wrestle with their entire lives.
Yeah, people just fall for the hate rethoric that Madara passed on, ignoring what even Itachi admitted to Sasuke in their last moments together, that acting in the shadows, lying and killing just brought more hate and pain to everyone he cared, that he should have trusted others and defended both the clan and the village, it would have been difficult, but Itachi himself believed that it was a mistake to not try, at the end he was also another kid living in violence for the mistakes of the past, mistakes that he continued in his desperation
Uchihas are kindve dumb cant they just put eachother in genjutsu to unlock mangekyou sharingan? They never tried to trick the eyes or test to see if it works that way instead of extreme measures poor writing on kishimoto side
