- DomTurchi said it would never happen - and DomTurchi was wrong. We present the final installation of MBG TAS, an Advanced TAS Rampage! This project would have been far too enormous of an undertaking for any one single individual, so, with combined powers of DomTurchi and HappyTreeX1 (with a dash of Nature Freak and Xelna), the impossible was made possible.
This video will differ from previous TAS compilations as it includes a combination of scripted TASes and Rewind TASes. While scripted TASes utilize HiGuy’s script to rec converter giving the TASer precision control, they are time consuming to produce and can take dozens of hours to perfect. Rewind by RandomityGuy offers a less precise ‘theory TAS’ alternative for TASers, with tools such as save states, ghosts and third-party slowdowns to give the TASer higher-level control. While scripted TASes are more accurate as they run in vanilla MBG, Rewind is excellent for quickly theory crafting tweaks and can often rival times produced by scripted TASes.
DomTurchi & HappyTreeX1 blast through Marble Blast Gold’s Advanced levels with DomTurchi manning the scripts and HappyTreeX1 manning the Rewinds. Together, they painstakingly tweaked and nearly perfected all 52 levels, showcasing brand new edge hits, routes and trap launches never seen before. We hope you enjoy!
Additional Information:
- Minimum allowed FPS is 30 and used in Freeway Crossing. This is a community accepted minimum. Mid-run frame rate drops were also utilized in To the Moon, Ski Slopes and Scaffold. Fan Lift & Airwalk use the fastest desync time on DomTurchi’s computer with the Framerate Unlocker modification in vanilla MBG.
- Rewind has a known bug where Time Travel timers can allocate more than 5 seconds or slowly increment down throughout the TAS. Ending times have been adjusted to compensate for these issues, and Rewind segments may show a final time in the timer not equal to the time displayed at the start of the segment.

I can't express how happy I am with this video. It was so much fun helping Dom with this. Also Tightrope is my favorite TL too. Disgusting haha.
It’s pretty scary how Marble Blast TASing is still relatively new, and already there are tons of examples of strategies that were first pulled off and confirmed to be faster with TAS, and then later used by human runners to set new records.
Oh, and it’s led to some of the craziest Marble Blast videos in existence, including this one. Dom landing on the moon in 1.6 seconds, HappyTree absolutely clowning SOTF, Tightrope, Obstacle Course, the list goes on and on. It’s mind-blowing to see just what’s possible in this game.

Darwin's Dilemma was like seeing the 3 PSG strikers, with Neymar's juggling (the bumpers), the speed of Kylian Mbappé and the top-corner strike, Messi-style! What a screamer. In fact, the whole video is a screamer.

Really great video, and there were some fun-looking routes found along the way! Tube Treasure was extra satisfying! As a small note, the "RTA Records" are not actually RTA because they use the in-game timer, which (as we know) is not always measuring in real time.

How do 'Scripted TASes' work, is it more like a bruteforcer? In the sm64 TAS community, we have a bruteforcer to randomly perturbate through joystick positions to reach a desired position or other value.
