Marble Blast Gold (Web Port) World Record Rampage 2

- Two full years after the first installment, here is the second World Record Rampage of the Gold levels in Marble Blast Web. A lot has happened since then; the game now includes a full port of Marble Blast Platinum including all of the Ultra levels, about 2000 custom levels have been added since, and it now also runs on mobile devices. In the last couple of months however, many runners started grinding the good ol' original Marble Blast Gold levels yet again and have accomplished some impressive achievements: All 100 levels have received new world record runs - while most are improvements, some are simply alternative paths due to fixed glitches invalidating the old records. I have so many happy memories grinding for this rampage! This video was so much fun to watch. The wacky physics and the community’s dedication (and genius pathfinding skills) really shine throughout. Thank you Vani ❤ (and Chris and the artificial intelligence) for putting this together. I'm really looking forward to whatever comes next for the web port, probably an MBU rampage (and just maybe another MBG one...).
If you're still reading this, I think the best way to talk about all the highlights is in the form of an award show, so here it goes.
rampage MVP: c0wmanglr (Darwin’s Dilemma and Pitfalls were really cool to see)
madman award: berserk (several long hard runs like Tightrope, Natural Selection, and Skyscraper)
genius award: Mazik (HSAAJ and Escher’s Race stand out, plus that nifty sign hit on Stepping Stones, oh and Pinball Wizard)
2 precise 4 me award: StewMan46 (lots of IC records, plus I tried that Fan Lift tweak for hours and just could never pull it off)
making me feel dumb award: Cenote (grabbing one more TT on Great Divide aykm)
my favorite personal run: Survival of the Fittest (low key this might be greatest speedrun I've ever done)
best meme time: Half Pipe E1337

Majority of the time I was thinking of the bird or the brand, Dove, and then I thought maybe it was a misspelling of something, which made me realise that it was "Dive!" humour. 😅

Oh that made my day. Super fun to watch. First appearance in a WRR besides a blooper clip lol. Great job to everyone who contributed. Winding Road, Gauntlet, Freeway Crossing, Sotf, Darwin's were some of favorites just to name a few. (EDIT how could I forget Tightrope? Lmao that was incredible)

Marble Blast is a video game series in which players control a marble through various obstacles and challenges. A "World Record Rampage" in the context of Marble Blast, would likely refer to an event or challenge in which players attempt to set new world records for completing levels or achieving certain in-game milestones. It is a popular event done by the Marble Blast community. The players have to complete a level as fast as they can with a specific marble and record the time. The person with the fastest time gets the world record for that level and marble.

Most of these aren't doable without the wacky physics on the newest engine that make you go much faster, slow down and turn easier and edge/wall hit way higher/further. I want to see the WR montage using the OG MBG client physics. Where have all the trap launches on GD and GDR, Tower Maze, Natural Selection, etc gone? Is it illegal to do that now? lol.
this is the webport version of the game, not the original. people still actively run OG MBG and the original rampages can be found on the youtube channel "IsraeliRD"
