Everyone 35+ probably has great memories of book it and eating these freebies as a kid.
I did with that book club thingy, Pizza Hut is only good memories, 7.5, and for chain fast food it’s the tits of the all hands down

I know it's bad pizza but back in the 90s when I was working for the city for my summer job Pizza Hut used to have an all you can eat lunch buffet. Let me tell you, when you've been working outside all day and you're really hungry their crummy pizza tasted like a 9.5 to us!! 😂😂 I never eat there anymore but I have a soft spot for them just because I used to love going there as a kid and playing Ms Pac Man and eating pizza. It was good times man. Sure miss those days.
They had the salad bar too 😂

I’m from New York and I’ve had some of the best pizza in the world, but sometimes Pizza Hut just hits the spot.
Papa John's is bad, but about once every 18 months, I have to have some. Can't figure it out.
I actually like Pizza Hut pan pizza. Nothing like as good as my incredible homemade Sicilian, but it's okay.
They spray grease on the crust. I went to pick one up, and as it went into the box, the kid working there asked if I wanted butter on it. He was holding a light blue spray can containing butter flavored with garlic. I actually read the label.

You can’t compare a personal pizza at Pizza Hut to their large pizza it’s literally night and day different. (That goes for all pizzas no matter where you go, a personal pizza always has a different feel, texture and taste than a large pie)

There are many different categories of pizza and Pizza Hut falls into the category of “junk pizza”. I don’t mean that as a bad thing necessarily, it’s just that I wouldn’t really consider it pizza in the traditional sense. I actually quite like Pizza Hut but I could never compare it to some of my favorite places on Staten Island (where I’m from, many of them he has reviewed). It’s the same thing as fast food burgers. Obviously restaurant and homemade kick their asses but there’s a certain charm to say a Big Mac, whopper, or single from Wendy’s.
I agree. Pizza Hut is like a category of its own. It is garbage when compared to good pizza but there is something about that greasy crust that you can only get with a pan pizza. Still, I probably only have Pizza Hut once every few years...
Pizza Hut makes the kids happy, plus when you are outside of good pizza country it's always a solid choice.

As a kid in the early 90s the personal pan had me reading every book I could get for the book it program haha 😂 and the big foot pizza in the 90s now days it just isn’t as good for some reason.
Didn't have me reading, but had me having my mom signing the paper saying I was reading like 10 books a month.

Would get the coupons without reading the books, was great. Mother would also once in a while grab me and my sister outta school for the lunch time pizza buffet. The only time I ever got to eat the desert pizzas, which were great. To bad they don't make them anymore.
I remember the pizza being a lot better and cooked longer. Now they are barely golden crust when you would get a range of golden to a darker brownish color.
Does anybody remember how good the baby Pan pizzas used to be at Pizza Hut back in the eighties in the early nineties?? It was delicious

the pepperoni isn't the same but i recently had one that was pretty close to the early 90's personal pan. it's possible , but it probably takes a stroke of luck not getting expired ingredients

The only reason I still like pizza hut was due to growing up to one was 4 mins from house and if you had a playstation in the 90s you can get playstation demo from pizza hut . Yes there are better pizza in NJ . But hey I'm a 90s kid .

Yo Pizza Hut had one of the coolest kid meals with the personal pan pizza back in 93. It came with an X-Men comic book then you could also get the VHS tapes for the X-Men show. I didn’t know they had an xmen cartoon out at the time until my mom got me these. Incredible time to be a kid.

@Bobby Brady To me a pan pizza from the hut is completely different pizza that a pizza shop slice. But Pizza huts pan pizza(If made right) is AMAZING!!! I get the personal pan as well, but I get white sauce with extra cheese. The reason for extra is because sometimes its too light.

BUT! I used to like extra cheese from pizza joints, I grew out of that. If its from an autho pizza shop Now I just order plain.... Lol and I don't eat it right away I let it sit for like 45 mins and put it in the oven so it has that crisp texture when you go in for a slice 😆

This place in my county he gave them a higher score then I would of & 100% honest its ok but not good how people make it seem, its just burnt, no flavor, oil poured on top but he rated it good, I find it weird lol
Then there are pizza places from NY that blow it out the water & he rates them lower lol, but in the vid someone from the food network is there & says one of the best slices lol which is true still rated the pizza with no flavor from the county were I currently live higher makes no sense.. 😂.. its mind bottling

For what it is, Pizza Hut pan pizza is pretty damn good, I mean its not near as good as most any local pizza joint but for fast food pizza its pretty good.

I went to a Pizza Hut once about 20 years ago. OK if you are starving, I suppose. You won't find many of them here in CT except in the service areas on the interstate. They can't compete with all the real good pizza places here.
