    I went through a period of being "not like the other girls" and being "one of the guys". I grew out of that but here's what I learned: 1) As a woman, you'll NEVER be one of the guys and then 2) There's nothing wrong with being "the other girls". The others girls are actually lots of fun! Having strong female friendships is so important to have.

      all of this!! i had my “ugh girls and i hate pink” phase too; so glad i came out of that. now im obsessed with women and pink (which was always my favorite color growing up)

    I like this message. I’ve always been the girl with both boy-friends and girl-friends. It always amazed me how different they think they are lol we are far more the same than we’ve been taught and conditioned to believe.

    tbh
    i don’t consider myself a girls girl so i guess i’m a pick me lol ? my whole life i’ve been bullied and alienated mainly by women… even the grown women in my life have always been highly judgmental of me as a teen/kid…so idk i wouldn’t call myself a pick me but i’m also really not a girls girl tho i have a lot of close girl friends. I don’t think women who have a hard time making female friends need to be treated differently and called pick mes. People go through different things growing up and alittle empathy for that goes a long way..

      I know what you mean. I have experiences, just like it. It's funny how just because I am a human with female genitalia apparently means that I owe other species like me something. 😮‍💨

      A little empathy does go a long way. Seems like a really honest self reflection.
      Two boxes is not enough for half the population. Good thing its just an internet term.

    Not a pick me or a girls girl….. just a girl who’s social battery dies pretty quickly and has certain views on people in general. I grew up the youngest of 5 sisters were all stair step with my mom and all the women in my family…… sooo its nice to get away from girls sometimes.

    I’m not a girl’s girl but I’m also not a pick me girl. As a woman who went to a mostly male school, I simply don’t know exactly how to interact with and become friends with women. I really want to though

    Ah but another way us ladies have figured out how to be divisive among fellow gals. How often I hear the phrase "shes def not a girls girl" lets be honest, its internet slang for: she hasnt proven herself to be worthy in our group.
    Its never okay to belittle other people. Its never okay to generalize an entire group. Who are we to label someone as a pick me and simultaneously call ourselves a girls girl? Im here for the underdog, man.
    What do you get when you question or think critically of meaningless internet terminology? Mhmm, a pick me

      💯 also, I don’t support other girls and their actions I don’t agree with just bc they’re girls. if you have an unpopular opinion about a girl or whatsoever you’re immediately called a pick me girl.

      It's good to question everything and stay skeptical. But "male-identified women" is a phenomenon that has been studied by feminists and sociologists for decades now, relevant to understanding women's subordination and role in maintaining patriarchy.

    I may be an antisocial introvert, but I'm definitely a girls girl
    Sure, i had my dumb pick me phase and i often hate my sex/gender due to internalized misogyny, but i damn well support women. I have an equal number of male and female friends, but im friendlier to my fellow girls, support their businesses, etc. I'm definitely a girl's girl
    PS: could you please do a video on hating your gender simply because you're a girl and not because of gender dysphoria? Like, i wish i was born a boy because everywhere i turn, men always seem to be superior than women, and i wish i was given a chance to be superior too. I always feel I've been dealt a bad hand by being a girl. It makes me depressed. But not in a "I'm trans" way. Just in a "I'm already a failure by being a woman. I don't want to exist anymore" way.

    This video was facts. A lot of men will put women in positions where she feels trapped so she’ll tolerate his bs no matter what. All because of their desire to feel “needed” by women but also not wanting to change their toxic ways.

    • @mckennasee
      @mckennasee ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A lot of men? Or toxic unhealed men? Lets not stereotype and generalize here.. a girls girl wouldnt do that

    • @kuchanua
      @kuchanua ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mckennasee I would argue that there’s a lot of toxic and unhealed men which is how Andrew tate and the likes get their fan base. Perhaps that makes me not a girls girl but it is true 🤷‍♀️

I definetly used to be a pick me girl like i am.dlt so so and believe it or not i have some residues left like sometimes i confuse mens attention for investment and that really sucks they way the whole movie industry has made the most impact on me i wish i could just deinfluence without all the hard work😅...thank u for the wish we needed that.

    Sad. Talking about wanting, trying and encouraging others to go from ONE incorrect and extreme end of the spectrum, to the other. News flash, BOTH are objectively incorrect, dysfunctional, unhealthy, illogical, irrational, life and future hindering and extremely self-destructive to yourselves. Sad.
