Great tutorial, brilliant result. You can actually see the contents of a layer with a black mask by reducing the density of the mask in the property panel. I find that quicker than duplicating the layer, and I just raise the density back up once I'm done.
I tried to do the floating leaf photos so many times and only now I learnt about taking separate photos and layering/blending them into photoshop. Thank you so much for this!
Wow, long time since i learnt something drastic but this time there where some "wow" moments. Thanks alot for taking your time to explain all the process behind the image.
Oh boy Pye, you’ve out done yourself again. The picture looks awesome and the post production tutorial is so helpful. This is all new for me as I am just picking up my camera again. Love the editing👏🏼👏🏼👍🏻💖 Thanks for sharing.
Nice trick with leaves. Once I tried to do everything in one shot and it was a failure. The kid came out great but the leaves looked terrible. Thank you for this great tutorial.
I don't know how you don't have more views lol. Every video you release I learn something new and useful and I've been following for about 3 years now lol. Thank you for the time and effort you put in to making these videos. So simple and informative. I do have a question, can you make a video on how to set images for Instagram and or Facebook. I run into the issue sometimes where my images don't look as sharp as when I was editing them or the originals. Thank you Pye! 😁👍
Appreciate the love Edina! Here is a quick reference guide for social image sizing: www.slrlounge.com/the-best-lightroom-export-settings-for-print-quick-reference/
My guy Pye, man I’m still working on getting it right in camera first but just looking at this gives excitement and dreading learning light room like that. I mean it’s a job all in it’s own and I want photography to be my second job. Sure if I make money and do very well I would love for that to be all I do. Either way can’t wait to get there
Hi. I would really appreciate some help. I got stuck where you adjust the strength of the radial burn. I have a mac: opt+click+drag. It just doesn’t work for me. I press option and click and when I try to drag, it drags the whole filter. It doesn’t adjust the strength. How to fix this? If someone knows please let me know. I will try to find out in the meantime. Thanks
A fine tutorial. Unfortunately, Open as layers in Photoshop is a function only available in Classic. As far as I can tell, it can't be done in Lightroom CC.
I don't know why masking is such a PITA only for me damn ... ok can someone explain this without the jump arounds? After you mask one, what's the next step to get the other leaves to come in without double stepping with duplicates and such?

Respect to mom as well for allowing him to make this video🙏🏾🙏🏾
best photography resource on the internet - thanks for the dedication and great quality
That flyaway techniques at the end are gold!
Like the effect of the vignette and the leaves.

Pye. Dude! I always struggled with 'flyaways' before (for just the reasons you stated). What a great shortcut to 'disconnect' them. Thanks!
Great video. Brilliant tip on cloning "in" the fly aways. Thanks
You are worthy of my subscription.
Thank you for all the tricks and workflow
Im in love with your tutorials .. you are down to earth and relateable ... You make us beginners not intimtated by the technicality of the craft
cant believe i never thought about the cut off fly away technique, thanks for the awesome work as always!

I learned a lot ! Thanks for all those technics and sharing Pye.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching!
I usually use a white mask -> paint out everything I want -> then invert the mask :)

Amazing
You are asowme!
Nice work
when shooting the images do you focus on the model and then switch to manual focus?
Definitely helps so that the camera won't accidentally track a falling leaf instead.
great video
Could you tell name of program which you use
Great tutorial. Next time do it as Bob Ross...
Super... nice
I couldn't figure out the "painting" of the eyes. What tool was that?
where i will send my editing to this photo ...?
I do stuff liek this when i do confetti in photoshoots at my studio.
Awesome!
if u use one preset after another, here visual flow preset, then radial filter preset, won't one overwrite the changes made by the former?

one video is enough to subscribe to your channel boss
Lol fall was 3 months ago in Minnesota 🥶
I have the same problem with my Sigma lens in Lightroom. Very annoying.
