Why would scammers re-use accounts? This regulation is a waste of time.

Many of these victims won't even see a notification about a scam account let alone believe it

If you are desperate to give away your money, there are local domestic violence centers, food banks and families in serious need that could use your financial support.

Scammers or able to prey on victims... Primarily because victims are hesitant to come forward for fear of being publicly denigrated and mocked.
These people who are coming forward should be thanked for being willing to risk ridicule that clearly benefits primarily others not them.

Such an easy thing to do!! Facebook notified you if a graphic image, why can't the others notify you if a scammer??? My aunt has lost over 300k in the past 6 years to a single guy!! This has to stop

Where does your aunt's responsibility begin and end? I mean how dumb do you have to be to lose $300k to a scanner?

@@LouisBackover I would have lost similarly if I were single and had not heard stories from "Sue." She's courageous, not "dumb."

    Why are people so gullible?

Some people want to believe in the goodness of humankind. However - scammers most seek. It's people who are convinced they could never be scammed that scammers try to seek out.

@ThomasFromTN how true. I think under the right condition even the smartest can fall victim. But at least make it harder for the scammers. Trust but verify seems like a good idea
