Here's everything you need to know about Christopher Vivell and why Manchester United have hired him as their Director of Global Talent this summer, maybe in the short term but possibly in the long term.
Sam, Christopher Vivell's position is Technical Director. His main tasks are scouting and assessment of operations. Director of Global Talent is a non-existing function.
@UnitedPeoplesTV. This mate is your Forte, no one I watch about united produces this sort of well put together analysis. Keep it up mate and may your views in rese 💪
Vivell's record is very good, but in the case of Haaland, the player himself&his crew had a plan. He took the right steps all along and chose Salzburg, Dortmund and never lost sight of the main goal, City. Solskjaer tried to get him at Salzburg for some £20 mill but was not allowed. Keep in mind that he was Haaland's manager in Molde (before Salzburg) and my impression was that Haaland was not ready for PL and did'nt think Solskjaer could help him in becomming a better player and be given enough time on the pitch. Haaland's carriere is one of the best structured and planned out I've seen. He has step by step chosen the right level, the right club, the right team and the right manager at the right time so far and nothing is casual.
Ineos brought hope to us United fans again it seems like everything is going forward at our club,as a 20 year old Portuguese fan i started supporting United in 2014,unfortunately one year late to see it's glory under sir Alex.
It will be interesting to see if he will succeed at United. I'm sure he'll be able to spot young talented players but buying them on the cheap won't be easy. When selling clubs see his Manchester United business card they will surely put the price up!
Just forgot how good this channel was with the in depth analysis and videos of people we are link with especially for some of us who rarely watch football all the time. I’m glad for the good work man keep it up. No agendas no BS.
United desperately need to bring in Neil Bath as Director of Development. He just got let go by Chelsea for some crazy reason. He guided and oversaw the Chelsea Academy's rise to one of the best youth football academy in all of England over the past 20 years. He would be so valuable to United. With Omar Berrada as CEO Jason Wilcox as Technical Director Dan Ashworth as Sporting Director Christopher Vivell as Head of Recruitment Neil Bath as Director of Development And Nick Cox as Academy Director. United would have overhauled 20 years of poor total club management in 6 months.
@@ReverZe83 I agree. We have done really well with the academy but I think if we can add someone to the staff who has the potential to elevate the Academy even further, which I think Neil Bath could do, You make that move 10 times out of 10.
I have a feeling we would be making a lot more of 20-40m talent signings in the future with what Sir Jim Radcliffe had to say about the recruitment process and this announcement kinda aligns with what he was talking about.
You can enhance your episodes with this amazing graphic system, offering speed in performance and eloquence in speech. This will undoubtedly attract more viewers to you. Your wonderful spirit has already made my interest in Manchester United soar to new heights.
United scouts always spotted these talents and asked United to buy but guys like Edwoodward nd glazer did not respond.. Haaland, caicedo, alvarez nd many more all wanted United ...
I think we will sign 3 priority players for around 110m (de ligt, Zirkzee, Ugarte) Then work on sales (Sancho, Greenwood + Whoever else) and if we can then move for other deals in the remaining budget we will (e.g Jao Neves if we raise enough money)
Hi Sam, I’m here feeling really sad. The reason is that there a a few channels out there that are basically saying ETH is only a manager for a interim period, as these channels feel that Ineos doesn’t trust him, and he will likely be sacked by Xmas. I’ve just unsubscribed from 3 channels Adam’s, Saeed and Alice, they are all popping onto each other’s channel to provide support for their views. Personally, I think whoever is the manager of Utd, we should support them, rather than knock them on social media. I’m really happy to now just belong to your channel. Melissa
Every manager we had after saf were very good.ones...we just didnt have the background to back the managers. I hope now many things will change positively..aim is to build a legacy
I don't see the point of this video; maybe he won't succeed. While he did a decent job, it was insignificant compared to what Man Utd needs. Now, he has a major task ahead with the club. This new recruitment approach by Man Utd ensures that even if he leaves unsuccessful, there will be someone else to step in, which is a positive. However, I hope Vivell succeeds and meets expectations.
Cristiano Ronaldo, fair enough. You can just about have that one. But Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick were established stars by the time Man Utd bought them. Saying Man Utd are geniuses for buying Wayne Rooney is like saying Real Madrid were geniuses for buying Jude Bellingham or PSG were geniuses for buying Kylian Mbappe.
Glad that every department is being overhaul in it's respective position running as a football club rather then a commercial club. don't forget the medical/physiotherapy department and staff too..they can make or break a season..look at our injuries..
5:09 why dont we check in a couple years time. So strange how that youre convinced vivell talent id on young players is going to save your club but also convinced this same strategy will be chelseas downfall? Judging kids off 2 seasons. All ive seen so far is players leaving on profit and many great pickups like palmer, gusto, paez, jackson, caicedo. Nonetheless, its good news for united appointing vivell.

undoubtedly, just great thoughtful content
ralf recommended vivell during his time at MU
Ralf should be one of the directors now
He would not come@@kleemanjad
one thing i didnt rate about ten hag was he didnt want ragnick as help, feel they could have done magic together
@@AbdulRehman_192 he would if the Glazers beg him and admit they fucced up. National team management affords a manager a lot of free time.

Sly dig at Newcastle... love it :D
Each decison ineos make brings me more confidence about where we are heading. Its actually enjoyable following united at the moment 😂
Absolutely spot on sam. I think next season is what we could hope for
Sir, with three drops in one day you really are spoiling us. 😀

I love the subtle dig @ Newcastle at the start.
Small club then, now, forever.
Should have had a dig at city... Even smaller club
Glad to hear a fellow Zambian mentioned on the united TV podcast 🇿🇲

If it makes sense yeah. Depends on how they view how he'd fit. His role might be similar to one that already exists but let's see what happens
In fairness the one thing we've always been good at is churning out youth players
before this post I thought Sporting director and technical director were the same.

sam working hard today!
Ajax also tried to get him. Supposed to be really good.
The Glazers have FVCK£D Up

Hi mate where did you get the poster with garnacho + mainoo, I need for my house
In 2015 itlsef I posted in FB page that Manu Management should be replaced. Seems like Glazer understood just now after wasting 1B..
Sounds good
I worry too many cooks spoil the broth
They all have roles
No cooks, no broth.
they arent all cooks tho, some are cooks, some are preppers, some are porters, some are headchefs - a structured kitchen
Nothing wrong with our scouts it’s our owners who don’t want to spend on cheaper young talent
Could we signed vivell for long term
United's Talent ID spotter was Fergie and Fergie alone. Explains why United's Talent ID has been non existent post-Fergie
True, the man was more than a coach
lets hope he gets our recruitment strategy back to logic and common sense

4:15 we’re not a small club. So selling for profit isn’t needed for United
Would Paul Mitchell be better??
Ccccristiano ronaldo is goat yes 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
0:12 😂 list of players whom haven't received an apology from united.
Problem is .. United have a history of paying large 💰 🙄
Give him a long term contract he did well in Chelsea just that dey have a bad manager and no structure or plan
Then why are we still linked to Regulon and Rabiot?
More then likely cheap and experienced, rabiot is on a free and regulion is around 10mil
Huh wait a min? Why are those red bull clubs allowed to sell to each other but United and Nice ain't

He bought Patson daka
