Kawasaki doing the sport bike world proud by offering a smaller displacement 4 popper. I started riding in the early 80's and All the Japanese manufacturers had multiple 4 cylinder bikes. Pretty much the smallest was the 550cc, 650cc, 700cc, 750cc, 850cc, 900cc, 1000cc, 1100cc, 1200cc. Course everyone made like three sizes of four cylinders... That was all we wanted. Now it's getting harder to find the inline 4's, and I understand people are interested in different varieties these days, plus the twins and triples are really freaking good, but I will always love the smooth sound of the 4 screaming like a banshee!!
I'm blown away what Kawasaki made, awesome sound in small engine, looks great too. Feels more sturdy than ninja 400 and all the other competitors in that category, more powerful than ninja 650 and my fav R7. Just wow, only the price is little higher than I would like hehe. Great video bro.
@@Superz3ro The Aprilia is a nice bike, but not sure how reliable it would be and I don't think that engine is better. It's a parallel twin (which doesn't sound nearly as good as an inline 4) and it makes almost half the power of the Kawasaki (35 kW vs 60 kW).
Always ride safe man, that's the number one priority, PERIOD. Nothing else matters but to get back home healthy. Group riding is one of the most dangerous times to ride because riders feel the need to keep up, everyone has different skill set, so make sure you understand your own limits.

I’m quicker and more agile now at 165 than I was at 190. Not busting on you big guys but go fast save money and your health. Keep the rubber down brothers. Love the way the Ninja sounds. Wish you were closer man, I’m in the ‘noke area and ride alone. Fast is more fun with friends.

i just love all of them. ninja 300 and 400 whatever. theire cool and weight almost as a motogp bike. FOR ME the corner behavior, the responsiveness that a light bike gives is the MAIN exciting thing. USED TO LOVE my ex cbr 250 for its 150 kg (like 300 pound) . But it lacks power.
Older 90's 400's not sold in the US were a lot lighter. Only issue is the new Kawasaki is heavy. 0ld ones like the Suzuki were 350 lbs wet. Only about 60 hp stock. Hell of a difference in weight. Kawasaki's ninjas have always been heavy.😊

I was considering the zx6r but thought it would be more uncomfortable ergonomically and impractical compared to this as you get to wring this thing out and I dont need 120+mph speeds. The price doesnt bother me since you get a lot of nice features and that screamer engine is is sick. What are your thoughts 6 months later? Thanks!

I havent ridden in over 10 years. I had a 650 ninja and I'm considering an R1. If you were riding a gixxer 750 im pretty sure youd be more than comfortable on this one. I would get it if it didnt cost as much as a 600cc.
If you understand the basics of bikes i would say so yes, you can also ride it in low power mode not that it has insane power till you get more comfy! i came back after 10 years and only thing that shocked me was the leaning and counter stear again took me a little to adjust other than that i was good to go
No it's a waste of money. If you want a super sport the 636 ZX6R is only $1500 more and if you want a comfortable sport tourer the ninja 650 is $2000 less than the ZX4R and it still has more hp and torque.

All brands should start building trick small bore bikes , with all the tech and good shit . Todays 1000 cc are just too much and riding with buddies on small cc trick bikes would be a hoot.
The guys on the litre bikes need to cut back on the large doner kebab and extra chilli sauce with large fries. The litre bikes are riding like 750ccs due to the excess weight.

Ninja 400 is great starter bike you will want more after a while but everyone does eventually. Ive driven my ninja 400 15k miles and have been enjoying it alot still
There's no replacement for displacement but in some tight twisty roads in hill country, a good rider could keep up or even beat them if they were newer riders. I'd rather have a well-balanced & suspended bike that makes 50 H.P. & weighs 300lbs than a bike that weighs 500lbs & makes 200 H.P. any day. 50 H.P. is more than enough to keep up with traffic at ANY legal speeds & the lighter weight is more important in tight cornering than brute power.
I never want any bike under 600cc and i owned a Yamaha R3 in a group ride even 600s will eat yo Ass up!but the 400RR is a great starting bike regardless ❤

The ZX4RR is NOT slow. Depends on HOW the rider drives the bike. That bike can go up to 90kph by just using the first gear!
