    I was part of the cleanup in 1977. I support you and I am with you.
    I'm one of the 400 remaining military survivors out of 4,000. There were 4,000 military members there and 4,000 civilian contractors, 1977-1979. I do not have information on the civilian contractors, but only 10% of the military remains alive. This is documented.
    I am so sorry for what the US has done. I do believe we need nuclear weapons for defense. I believe a strong military is necessary. I do not believe that the military people who cleaned it up, nor the people of the Marshall Islands should be penalized and left behind. The radiation is making people sick and killing people.
    And if the dome collapses, it will be an unprecedented catastrophe for the entire world.

    I too was part of this effort. They were dumping contaminated soil into the lagoon. I've got proof.
