Fall Guy was an 80's TV series starring Lee Majors. He was a movie stuntman that was a Bounty Hunter on the side when he wasnt making movies. Not sure they will follow the same premise. I used to watch the TV series as a kid (telling my age) and in case you are not old like me Lee Majors also played The Six Million Dollar Man (Bionic Man) before the Fall Guy series. Both were good TV shows for their time.
That Deadpool movie could be a colossal failure or exactly what modern blockbusters need depending on what level of irony the multiverse theme is being handled with. Ideally, I'm hoping it comes through with a certain amount of sincerity. Something that's sorely missing from most MCU and DC movies right now.
I hope Deadpool 3 proves a Multiverse Superhero movie works with a hero that isn’t Spider-Man in the lead. I say that as of the multiverse superhero movies we have: Spider-Man No Way Home, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse, and The Flash, the only good ones were Spider-Man films and Everything Everywhere All At Once as well and that film only relied on the craziness within the multiverse rather than cameos

Night Shyamalan)
you and i share most anticipated movies 😂 with the strikes happening earlier, 2024 may not be as good for movies, but these are the ones i’m holding out for!
Here’s my top 10 most anticipated for this year: 1.) Deadpool 3 2.) Dune: Part II (again) 3.) Untitled Jordan Peele Christmas Movie 4.) Mickey 17 5.) Robert Egger’s Nosferatu 6.) Joker: Folie à Deux 7.) Alien: Romulus 8.) Kraven The Hunter 9.) The Fall Guy 10.) A Quiet Place: Day One
FW Murnau's Nosferatu was redone in 1978 by Werner Herzog, it was then reimagined in Shadow of the Vampire, wherein Willem Dafoe portrayed a fictional version of Max Schrek, and John Malkovich did a wonderful version of FW Murnau. Looking forward to this third/fourth version of the film.
Including restorations and alternate versions, it ends up as more than a few Nosferatu takes. Cant wait for this. This could be Eggers masterpiece not unlike Carpenters The Thing.
What I think they'll be doing with Joker is having Harleen trying to treat Arthur using musical therapy, and it ends up causing his "song" to actually influence her. Which would be interesting if they played with how his theme cam through in the first film in the scenes where he embraces the madness. If they play it right, this film is gonna be incredible.
@@ZmannR2this is such a dense take, music has been a part of the world for so long and can be utilized in so many ways, musicals as a whole cannot be discredited as they can change stories drastically and we won't know if it's good or not until we've actually seen it
I'm very curious how this movie plays out. I enjoyed Joker but I thought it was one of those movies that absolutely doesn't need a sequel. So naturally, when it made a billion dollars and the sequel was announced shortly after despite all people involved (to my knowledge) didn't plan for one before, I was very hesitant that it would devolve into another Joker v Batman Story, just from the other side this time, and I had zero interest in that. But making it about Harley and Joker but also a musical? That sounds like it could be something we haven't seen before. I'm still somewhat hesitant, but there's also some careful optimism.
I'm just interested in how CALIFORNIA and TEXAS could EVER be aligned to take on the rest of the country. Like...in what world. _In what._ *WORLD.* lol
Hi Jeremy, long time fan here. I’ve been watching your videos for about 10 years which feels unreal. Just wanted to say thank you for all the great reviews over the years and excited to see what happens in the future!
You're great, man. Loved your selection (made me aware of promising films that hadn't been on my radar before) and I just really respect that you're staying true to yourself, more than anything.
I don’t know why but I am so hyped for Sonic 3. When the offical Sonic movie account posted that pic of Shadows shoes and it attracted a lot of my casual friends who aren’t as big into Sonic as I thought you know your doing something right. Shadow just like certain characters in Dragon ball has a status that extends outside of the niche fandom into pop culture so the fact that Shadow is getting everyone excited and his intresting lore they can pull from has me optimistic
I really like both sonic movies BUT they could’ve cut out all the wedding secret agent bs in the second movie and kept it down to 1 1/2 hours and it would’ve been gold. Nobody cares about donut man’s marital travels, stick with sonics story.
Hey Jeremy!! Man, have a wonderful new year, just wanted to say you have been a great company for over a decade now, I've been watching your reviews on movies and games that most of the time I never get to even watch, but hey, it feels like listening to a friend rant about his bad good or awesometacular movie night.
I am honestly looking forward to the Sonic 3 Movie. Sonic Adventure 2 has the best story in the franchize. And the reaction of some of the creative team members to the Fan Film 'Project Shadow'. It's giving me genuine excitement, that they won't water down Shadow's backstory and that we'll have Live and Learn blasting at full volume in the Big Scream during the final battle at the ARK.
I'm going to be honest, the Sonic movies didn't really do much for me. But what you just said makes me want to see the third movie now! If we get Live and Learn on the big screen it will all be worth it.
The 2024 movies I’m most excited for are: - Kung Fu Panda 4 - Shelby Oaks - Deadpool 3 - Here - The Fall Guy - The Garfield Movie - Wicked: Part One - The Wild Robot - White Bird: A Wonder Story - Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire - Beetlejuice 2 - Joker 2
Dune Part Two is my #1 movie for this year that I'm waiting for. I hope the new Ghostbusters movie is good. Loved your commentary on Civil War. Totally agree.

Mickey 7 was such a fun book. It doesn’t really seem like bong joon Hos type of typical story though so I’m really looking forward to seeing him do something different
My top 10 anticipated: 1. Dune part two (again) 2. Furiosa 3. Civil war 4. Alien: Romulus 5. The Fall guy 6. A quiet place day one 7. Deadpool 3 8. Nosferatu 9. Joker: Folie á Deux 10. Argylle I also wanna include kingdom of apes but I can’t help but feel sceptical about it even tho I love the recent trilogy
I would be interested to see when you do your top 10 for the year, which ones were actually in your most anticipated at the beginning of the year. Would be a nice retrospective thought.
My favorite Broadway musical Wicked is getting a movie based on Act 1 this year. So far it looks like everything I could want from a Wicked movie. Some honorable mentions include Inside Out 2, Deadpool 3, Sonic 3 and the Untitled Wallace and Gromit movie.
I don’t know if it’s coming out this year, but I’m looking forward to what Christophe Gans brings us with Return To Silent Hill, as it’s based on Silent Hill 2, and even has James Sunderland as the main protagonist. The first movie was great, so I am looking forward to this one, plus, Silent Hill 2 is my all time favourite game.
Smile 2 is one I am looking forward to. I really like the first one and Parker Finn has said he won't retread the same story twice so I am really intrigued on where he will go with it.
Did you just end this video with a Soul Reaver quote? Jeremy, never change, this is why I keep coming back to your channel, it’s because you’re one of us :)
I think Civil War will absolutely be a "Rorschach Test" as you put it. The trailer certainly seems that way, and seeing that the way they divided the US up for the movie has Texas and California on the same side suggests they're going for a lot of ambiguity.
Don't know about a top TEN but MY most anticipated movie is DEFINITELY Sonic the Hedgehog 3. This is either gonna be a sink or SOAR movie no in between. And it all relies on getting Shadow the Hedgehog RIGHT. Down to the voice. PLEASE Paramount...Choose wisely.
Here is my top 10: 1 - Furiosa 2 - LOTR War of the Rohirrim 3 - Gladiator 2 4 - Joker 2 5 - Mickey 17 6 - Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 7 - Deadpool 3 8 - Maxxxine 9 - Wallace and Gromit 10 - Beetlejuice 2
Hot Pitch, Deadpool accidentally kicks down the third wall, ends up in the Star Wars universe and cuts off Reys fucking head before we get another dumpster fire starring her
I just have no faith in Deadpool 3, which hopefully means I'll be pleasantly surprised. Outside of the recent MCU issues, I just can not imagine a world where Disney would make Deadpool 1 or 2. I hope I'm wrong. I'm sure we'll get something close, but I just get this feeling it's going to be reigned in a lot compared to the last two films.
My most anticipated films of the year off the top of my head in no particular order: Dune Part 2 - Loved the book and Part 1 was a great adaptation. Can't wait to see how the rest of the story is handled. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes - Loved the trilogy and while I maintain that it ended properly, a sequel showing the aftermath of Ceaser's journey could be awesome. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga: Love Fury Road and Anya Taylor Joy, and with George Miller at the helm once again, I'm excited. Ballerina - Cause Ana de Armas... and I love the John Wick films and the world of assassins depicted in the franchise. Joker 2 - The first one was amazing and while a sequel was not needed, it is happening and I'm really curious to see where they go with it, especially since it is a musical. Deadpool 3 - Shawn Levy with Ryan Reynolds seems to work well together (Free Guy, The Adam Project), and with Wolverine thrown in the mix, I'm cautiously optimistic. Civil War - Sheer curiosity to see how Texas aligned itself with California... and to see what Alex Garland does with a project like this.
I think THINK that map may be misleading and that California and Texas are independant of the US and so denoted by the same colour as "other countries" That said I hope its a strange bedfellows where they realized "hey you want everyone to F off and leave you alone, we want everyone to F off and leave us alone and now we arent in the same country so we dont really GAF what the other is doing..."
1. Megalopolis 2. Civil War 3. Furiosa 4. Mickey 17 5. Deadpool 3 6. Joker Folie A Deux 7. Nosferatu 8. Dune Part 2 9. Maxxxine 10. Y2K Have high hopes for Megalopolis that it will be the surprise throwback film we've needed for a while. Could be the best movie of the decade even.
I am not a huge movie fan but the only two movies that I am absolutely hyped for are Deadpool 3 and Godzilla x Kong. Others that I would probably end up watching are Furiosa, Joker 2, Sonic 3, Kung fu Panda 4 and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. May be civil war too as it is an interesting concept.
I love the Quiet Place movies, but for whatever reason, I always see them years later. Watched the first one in 2020. Just watched the second one two months ago. So I am really looking forward to A Quiet Place Day one in 2027!
Just fyi, Season 3 is not as good as 1&2. It's still decent and very tense. But the "spin-off" Narcos: Mexico was incredible all over again. I would hate for season 3's dip in quality to put anyone off Narcos: Mexico as it was so well done
Top Ten Most Anticipated 10. Gladiator II (It's got Denzel in it... Sold) 9. A Quiet Place Day One (Cautiously Optimistic) 8. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (Interesting Premise) 7. Dune Part II (Wonka and MJ? Along with Thanos, Yelena, Moon Knight, Drax and Elvis?... Sold) 6. The Thundermans Movie (Pure Unbridled Childhood Nostalgia) 5. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (The Ultimate Bro movie of 2024) 4. Fall Guy/Argyle (It's a Tie! Simply Can't Wait) Top Three Most Anticipated 3. The Batman II (Self Explanatory) 2. Joker II (I didn't think it needed a sequel but it's also a MUSICAL?... Sold) 1. Deadpool III (The Next EVENT Marvel Movie)
2024: Argylle, Dune 2, Kung Fu Panda 4, Mickey 17, Furiosa, Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes, Inside Out 2, A Quiet Place: Day One, Deadpool 3, Borderlands, Horizon: An American Saga, Alien ( maybe- depends on the level of horror- i'm not into this kind of horror ), Kraven The Hunter, Beetlejuice 2, Transformers One, Joker 2, The Amateur, Gladiator 2, Venom 3, Wicked Part 1, The Lord Of The Rings: The War of Rohirrim, Mufasa: The Lion King, Nosferatu, Godzilla x Kong.
The reason I most want to see "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" is to see how good the director has become, to help me figure out how good of a job he can do with his upcoming "Legend of Zelda" live action movie. **Fingers crossed**
My most anticipated movies are..... 1. Deadpool 3 2. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire 3. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 4. A Quiet Place: Day One 5. Transformers One 6. The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim 7. Mufasa
I'd add Saw XI and Sonic 3 on the list. Saw X was such a shot in the arm for the franchise, and I hope they keep that momentum up. And I'm very curious how Sonic 3 will adapt Sonic Adventure 2 for a feature-length trilogy capper.
@marcolidema8876 Random Sonic 3 Predictions: 1) Shadow will have his origin adapted accurately including the execution scene of Eggman’s grandfather and they will integrate “I am all of me” 2) Shadow will be played by either Robert Pattinson or Keanu Reeves and the cutscenes from the shadow spinoff game will be included in the movie 3) Shadow will either sacrifice himself and die to be with Maria again or be on decent terms with Sonic but travel alone 4) the ending will have sonic making an emotional run with live and learn playing /hj
Is saw XI confirmed for 2024? Wasn't sure if they'd have it done by then or not. Honestly I wasn't too big on the movie compared to others. But I like the backstory they're giving John Cramer. Even tho he kinda had one already. But this last one shows that he indeed has morals and rules. With how the end credit scene went. I look forward to how they're going to treat everyone else. I feel like they ran out of ideas for an actual continuation of the saw series, so they instead just decided to do more thorough back stories to main characters and slap the saw + number label onto it. This last saw film was exactly what they should've made the jigsaw movie like.
2024 I don't think will be AMAZING with the exception of a few films. Here's a list of all the films I will be seeing next year. •Argylle •Dune 2 •Kung Fu Panda 4 •Arthur the King •Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire •GODZILLA X KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE •The Fall Guy •Furiosa •KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES •Ballerina •Inside Out 2 •The Bikeriders •A Quiet Place: Day One •DEADPOOL 3 •Borderlands •Alien: Romulus •Beetlejuice 2 •Transformers: One •Wolfs •Saw XI •JOKER FOLIE A' DEUX •Terrifier 3 •Venom 3 •Alto Knights The Lord of The Rings: The War of the Rohorrim •Karate Kid •Nosferatu •Maxxxine •Civil War •Love Lies Bleeding
My Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of 2024: 1: Joker 2. This is the film I am honestly worried about the most, simply because I’m still not convinced we need a Joker sequel! Todd Phillips has a bad track record of doing sequels and Joaquin Phoenix has also been inconsistent since his performance in the first Joker film. However, the first Joker film took me massively by surprise, so much so that it’s now one of my favourite films of all time! 2: Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. I have been a fan of this franchise since it got rebooted in 2011. Each instalment in this franchise has surpassed each other so I hope this one can live up to the same level! I’m really hoping they put the same love and care into this one as they did with the other trilogy. However with the absence of both Matt Reeves and Andy Serkis, I do fear that it will not live up to the previous three instalments… 3: Deadpool 3. The only MCU film releasing this year… I’m a big Deadpool fan and I absolutely loved the other two films, and with the epic return of Hugh Jackman and some other familiar faces, makes me super hyped! 4: Furiosa A Mad Max Saga. “The question is, do you have it in you to make it epic?” I’m hoping the answer will be yes! Prequels are tricky because we already know how things turn out and in all honesty, I would have preferred an actual Mad Max sequel with Tom Hardy… But I really hope that this will be another lovely day! 5: Bob Marley One Love. Having grown up listening to the music of Mr Marley, I really hope that I will be JAMMING along to this latest music legend’s biopic! 6: Dune Part Two. While I liked but certainly did not love the first Dune, I am very intrigued to see where the story goes in this film. The trailers have also hyped me up so let’s go Paul! 7: Rebel Moon Part Two. I know I’m in the minority of people but I dug the first Rebel Moon and it left me wanting more from this world! 8: Gladiator 2. Are you not entertained? I hope I will be again! 9: The Fall Guy. A potential sleeper hit maybe? 10: Nosferatu. I’m intrigued…
As for Rebel Moon, i just gonna hav to follow the director's cut becoz they did it again like zsjl. The pacing of the PG13 Rebel Moon is too random & sudden for me. It's like the editor took out lotsa meat outta the story or something.
I'm still waiting to see if the Salem's Lot remake will ever come out. Supposed to release in September 2022, then April 2023 because of COVID stuff, then WB merger, then the strike. Now WB says it doesn't have a current release date, and King is praising it and saying that WB has shelved it.
Yeah, definitely looking forward to Deadpool 3, Joker 2, Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire, Fall Guy, Kung Fu Panda 4, Inside Out 2, slightly the Garfield Movie just to see how it is, slightly Madame Web mostly because I'm just curious as to how this will fit into the Spiderverse, and slightly Mufasa...mostly because despite that the live action remakes suck, I'm curious to see what they'll do for this prequel.
Not seeing anyone mention Shelby Oaks, but I'm pretty pumped to see it! I've been following the production of it for the past year and half and it's definitely promising!
Jaysus, I feel like he's been talking about that movie for half my life. Glad it's finally coming out. Maybe he'll find his integrity as a film critic again.
Happy New Year!🎉🥂 Nice list like always, this is mine: 1. Deadpool 3 2. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire 3. Dune : Part Two 4. A Quiet Place: Day One 5. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 6. The Fall Guy 7. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 8. Inside Out 2 9. The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim 10. Havoc 11. Bob Marley: One Love 12. Venom 3 13. Kung Fu Panda 4 14 Ballerina 15. Gladiator II 16. Transformers One
@@rustyshackleford6035yes, but supposedly it’s going to be animated. It most likely won’t be very good though cause Chris Hemmsworth is voicing Optimus prime which is just ridiculous to me
Great video and list, but I just have to say how much I love your Legacy of Kain references. One of my favorite game series. The writing and acting were brilliant! 😃
@@bighand1530honestly after Endgame there should’ve been like 2-5 year gap break from superhero genre. I mean we got Spider-Man movies those were awesome , Shang Chi, Guardians 3 were also great but too much quantity than quality since Covid. Also we got The Batman. It was worth it imho.
Movies I'm looking forward to or I am at least interested in seeing this year are Race for Glory: Audi vs Lancia, The Bikeriders, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, MI Dead Reckoning Part 2 (Scratch that, been corrected that it comes out in 2025 😂), The Iron Claw (I know it's already out in the USA but it gets released here in the UK in February) and dare I say it... Civil War. Although Civil War I'm more morbidly curious to see if anything. I think Jeremy made a great point about that movie, it's election year in the US and given how tense things are, it kinda feels like a movie like that has the potential to just wind people up even more and fan the flames even more! Is it really a good idea releasing a movie like that especially during election year? 😂
@@thejman3489 It definitely is! Especially the Group B era of Rallying! As much as I love F1, I can't help but have more admiration for rally drivers and bike racers like MotoGP riders. It takes huge balls to go racing in those types of environments! That Race for Glory trailer got me pumped. Can't wait to see that on the big screen!
I think I've seen the best movie of the year already. One Life came out at British cinemas on monday. New Years day. The story of Nicholas Winton, who saved 669 children from the Nazis. Sir Anthony Hopkins plays the lead. It was amazingly good. As emotional as you would expect. And as great as Cillian Murphy was in Oppenheimer, Anthony Hopkins really ought to get another oscar for this. He's incredibly good in it. Google says it will get a US release in 2024. I think anything else I see this year will be hard pressed to top it as an experience for me.
Another holo- struggle session, no thanks - especially with jews doing their own holocaust. Dont care, there are literally 1000 other movies about this. Boooooring.
You have two of mine on your list. Nosferatu and Deadpool 3. Cool choices, I have to to check out that Civil War trailer later and see what that's all about.
About Civil War, I have heard Garland call it a spiritual sequel of Men. After watching the trailer I have no idea in what way, and with how bonkers Men was I can't wait to see it!
Dune: Part 2, Deadpool 3, and Nosferatu are my most anticipated movies of the year. I have a feeling they'll all be great and I can safely put them at the top of my list. There are a lot of movies that have my curiosity, but they could also bomb so who knows. I'm intrigued though. I still think the most exciting movies are the ones that come out of nowhere and blow you away. The 2023 movie that came out of nowhere was Godzilla: Minus One. It had very little advertising and talk, but wow did that movie have an impact. Let's hope 2024 has some great movies because we deserve them.
Dune: Part II is the one I’m probably most looking forward to. The others, Mission Impossible and Spider Verse got pushed back. Followed by Ghostbusters and The Fall Guy. Maybe on Ballerina, Deadpool, and Kraven the Hunter. I fear they’re going to mess those up.
John Wick should have been a stand alone movie. Not everything needs a Cinematic Universe, not every movie needs to be a franchise. Some movies get cheapened by this...John Wick is a perfect example of this. Fight me.
I'm excited for Bettlejuice 2 later this year. Tim Burton is directing, their bringing back Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, and Wiiem Defoe is in it!!! Really hoping it lives up to the hype.
I personally hope not tbh. The sequel trilogy was far from perfect, but Daisy Ridley herself was never a problem with them. I’m glad she’s getting another chance to come back and play Rey under a new creative team
I kinda have my doubts that Civil War is going to be a commentary on modern American politics. I mean there's almost bound to be some commentary, but not based on any real world events. From what I know about it, California and Texas of all states are political allies against two or three other factions? Of all the factions I imagine the US splitting into in the event of a full on conflict, a California/Texas alliance is the last i would expect given they are polar opposites on just about everything. Also, awesome outro with the Legacy of Kain quote. One of my favorite lines in that series!
Yeah I bet California would surprise you because we are treated like a liberal state because of the corrupt cheating politicians here. But Cali is mostly conservatives and we do not agree with the policies
You have to admit that if its from Hollywood, it is nearly exclusively from the perspective of the left. So we all know that if Civil War movie has axpolitical bent, it will be a tragedy caused by the right. Go watch Leave the World Behind. Or just non documentary movies in general.
I agree with you! The left and Hollywood will never see the facts that, they’re the cause of ANY Civil War that might come. 😅 I’ll watch it on video to see what lies they pitch. But I fear for the dupes who might believe it.
You should do an end-of-year retrospective on how all these movies turned out, alongside your best and worst of 2024.
I like this idea alot
Let’s remind Jeremy end of the year
Love this idea

Nosferatu is coming out the same week as Jordan Peele's currently unnamed movie. I cannot wait to do a double feature of those movies.
It’s not.
Not anymore. Project got pulled probably due to strikes.
I really want Deadpool to call out everything that happened to the MCU the last couple of years.
hahaha, not gonna happen. He's owned by Disney now
That'd be amazing to see how Deadpool mocks these problems.
Unlikely that they will mock their owners.
It won't.

- Borderlands (Eli Roth)
- Civil War (Alex Garland)
- Gladiator 2 (Ridley Scott)
- IF (John Krasinski)
- Joker: Folie à Deux (Todd Phillips)
- Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (Wes Ball)

you and i share most anticipated movies 😂 with the strikes happening earlier, 2024 may not be as good for movies, but these are the ones i’m holding out for!
Great list! Definitely look into Zone of Interest and Out of Darkness
I want the final apes movie to be a remake of the original
Deadpool is the Ryan Reynolds film I'm looking forward to
Don't care! 😊
Here’s my top 10 most anticipated for this year:
1.) Deadpool 3
2.) Dune: Part II (again)
3.) Untitled Jordan Peele Christmas Movie
4.) Mickey 17
5.) Robert Egger’s Nosferatu
6.) Joker: Folie à Deux
7.) Alien: Romulus
8.) Kraven The Hunter
9.) The Fall Guy
10.) A Quiet Place: Day One
FW Murnau's Nosferatu was redone in 1978 by Werner Herzog, it was then reimagined in Shadow of the Vampire, wherein Willem Dafoe portrayed a fictional version of Max Schrek, and John Malkovich did a wonderful version of FW Murnau. Looking forward to this third/fourth version of the film.
Pretty sure Dafoe plays an actual vampire instead of Schrek in Shadow of the Vampire.
Doug Jones played in a remake almost ten years ago. It was never released though. He’s been showing it at cons though recently.
No, he played Max Shreck@@robertlocock5636
Including restorations and alternate versions, it ends up as more than a few Nosferatu takes.
Cant wait for this. This could be Eggers masterpiece not unlike Carpenters The Thing.
The Nosferatu remake from the 70s changed all of the character's names though to match the names from the Dracula book rather than the Nosferatu film.
Whoa,great theory.
Screw musicals.
🤡 🐈
Jeremys commentary on Civil War was absolutely spot on. Thank you for such an honest take.
i don’t have time to watch, what did he say?
I'm just interested in how CALIFORNIA and TEXAS could EVER be aligned to take on the rest of the country. Like...in what world.
_In what._ *WORLD.* lol

Disappointing that they're not following up on the strict use of practical effects
You must not have seen how many californians have moved ro Texas lol Texas gets less Republican by the day@@acemstudio
I know it's not a rare thing, but Jeremy quoting anything from Legacy of Kain, especially lines spoken by Kain himself always make my day.
I don’t think it’s coming out this year but I’m really looking forward to Guillermo Del Toro’s rendition of Frankenstein.
I am cautiously optimistic for Sonic 3, but they better not make Maria black because I will never tolerate that shit.
Bless you for continuing to randomly reference Legacy of Kain in so many of your videos.
It makes me so happy
The 2024 movies I’m most excited for are:
- Kung Fu Panda 4
- Shelby Oaks
- Deadpool 3
- Here
- The Fall Guy
- The Garfield Movie
- Wicked: Part One
- The Wild Robot
- White Bird: A Wonder Story
- Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

Mickey 7 was such a fun book. It doesn’t really seem like bong joon Hos type of typical story though so I’m really looking forward to seeing him do something different
Mad Max: Fury Road was the best movie I have ever seen in theaters, hoping Furiosa is anywhere near as good.

4. Alien: Romulus
5. The Fall guy
6. A quiet place day one
7. Deadpool 3
8. Nosferatu
9. Joker: Folie á Deux
10. Argylle
I also wanna include kingdom of apes but I can’t help but feel sceptical about it even tho I love the recent trilogy
Excellent list
I would be interested to see when you do your top 10 for the year, which ones were actually in your most anticipated at the beginning of the year. Would be a nice retrospective thought.
The Bikeriders is gonna be amazing! Jeff Nicols is so slept on
I was thinking Henry Cavill's hair reminded me of Christopher Walken and Brendan Fraser in blast from the past.
Deadpool 3, Dune: Part Two, Joker 2, Ballerina and Sonic 3 are gonna be awesome.
Sonic without Jim Carrey... just pointless
@@RRRRRRRRR33but we get shadow instead and also we didn’t get much cast confirmation so Carrey could still show up

Kingdom of the Apes looks amazing. From the Caesar trilogy my favorite is Dawn especially with the depth on Koba.
Dawn was the best movie.. War kind of fell apart as the movie went on for me.
Smile 2 is one I am looking forward to. I really like the first one and Parker Finn has said he won't retread the same story twice so I am really intrigued on where he will go with it.
Jesse Plemmons has become one of my favorite actors since I saw him in Black Mirror.
He was in Fargo's season 2 too. Amazing stuff.
@@ariellira5881 Cool too see him and his wife in the same thing again. Kirsten was incredible in Fargo.

Jeremy, never change, this is why I keep coming back to your channel, it’s because you’re one of us :)
Werner Herzog remade Nosferatu in the late 1970s, with Klaus Kinski in the role he was born to play.

3 - Gladiator 2
4 - Joker 2
5 - Mickey 17
6 - Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
7 - Deadpool 3
8 - Maxxxine
9 - Wallace and Gromit
10 - Beetlejuice 2
2024? Inside out 2 and Kung Fu Panda 4! Along with the ones you mentioned!
Hot Pitch, Deadpool accidentally kicks down the third wall, ends up in the Star Wars universe and cuts off Reys fucking head before we get another dumpster fire starring her
I'm stoked for The Fall Guy, Drew Pearce knocked it out of the park with Hotel Artemis.
When it comes to Joker 2, I'm pretty sure they are gonna make Harley losing her mind into the musical bits.
Love your Legacy of Kain callback quote, miss that franchise.
My most anticipated films of the year off the top of my head in no particular order:
Dune Part 2 - Loved the book and Part 1 was a great adaptation.
I think u and the main man are having a folie a deux moment....ur looking forward to the exact same films
@@tomwilko7841 Lol. Didn't even realize that. Welp, great minds think alike. XD

I love the Quiet Place movies, but for whatever reason, I always see them years later. Watched the first one in 2020. Just watched the second one two months ago. So I am really looking forward to A Quiet Place Day one in 2027!

I finally finished the second season of Narcos a few weeks ago, so seeing Wagner Moura pop up in new stuff is always a treat
THAT IS PABLO ESCOBAR!!! dang
Just fyi, Season 3 is not as good as 1&2. It's still decent and very tense. But the "spin-off" Narcos: Mexico was incredible all over again.

I'd add Saw XI and Sonic 3 on the list. Saw X was such a shot in the arm for the franchise, and I hope they keep that momentum up. And I'm very curious how Sonic 3 will adapt Sonic Adventure 2 for a feature-length trilogy capper.
@marcolidema8876 Random Sonic 3 Predictions:
1) Shadow will have his origin adapted accurately including the execution scene of Eggman’s grandfather and they will integrate “I am all of me”
2) Shadow will be played by either Robert Pattinson or Keanu Reeves and the cutscenes from the shadow spinoff game will be included in the movie
3) Shadow will either sacrifice himself and die to be with Maria again or be on decent terms with Sonic but travel alone
4) the ending will have sonic making an emotional run with live and learn playing
/hj
@@brandonryce6801 I believe it's confirmed for the 27th of Sepetember

My Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of 2024:
1: Joker 2.
However with the absence of both Matt Reeves and Andy Serkis, I do fear that it will not live up to the previous three instalments…
3: Deadpool 3.
The only MCU film releasing this year…
I’m a big Deadpool fan and I absolutely loved the other two films, and with the epic return of Hugh Jackman and some other familiar faces, makes me super hyped!
4: Furiosa A Mad Max Saga.
“The question is, do you have it in you to make it epic?”
I’m hoping the answer will be yes!
Prequels are tricky because we already know how things turn out and in all honesty, I would have preferred an actual Mad Max sequel with Tom Hardy…
But I really hope that this will be another lovely day!
How many likes for Spiderman Beyond The Universe?

Definitely looking forward to MaXXXine! A grisly giallo? That's always a: yes, please!
This is almost identical to my list if I made one, except for Furiosa. Can't wait for more Mad Max style anarchy from George Miller!
Joker 2?
@@SOC675 I didn't like the first one. I mean it brought up important issues, but it was dark.
@@sharp52092 it was meant to be dark.
@@SOC675 I know, it just reminds me of a few people I know who struggle. I also struggle a little with depression.
@@sharp52092 I understand. But its a great story/movie/character study even if it is depressing
John Wick should have been a stand alone movie. Not everything needs a Cinematic Universe, not every movie needs to be a franchise. Some movies get cheapened by this...John Wick is a perfect example of this. Fight me.
I want Deadpool to call out John Wick's healing factor
Nosferatu had two exceptional remakes, one in the 70s, with Klaus Kinsky and the beautiful Isabelle Adjani, and another in the 90s, with Willem Dafoe.
I'm excited for Bettlejuice 2 later this year. Tim Burton is directing, their bringing back Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, and Wiiem Defoe is in it!!! Really hoping it lives up to the hype.
It won't. The first Bettlejuice movie came out at just the right time
I can’t believe I’ll be watching your videos ten years this year. That’s crazy in the best way.
Whenever that Star Wars rey movie comes out its going to bomb HARD
I personally hope not tbh. The sequel trilogy was far from perfect, but Daisy Ridley herself was never a problem with them. I’m glad she’s getting another chance to come back and play Rey under a new creative team
@@mr.moviemafiai dont think she knows how to close her mouth when she acts
@@mr.moviemafiaWhile that is true, the damage is already done with the sequel trilogy really.
@@DrViperVideosshe did fine
Happy 2024, Jeremy-Anu! 😘
Dune pt. 2, Deadpool, Nosferatu and GvK: New Empire are the movies I'm looking forward to watch in the big screen.
I’ll watch it on video to see what lies they pitch. But I fear for the dupes who might believe it.
I thought Furiosa: a mad max saga would have definitely made the list!
Your top 10 sucks
Absolutely agreed
a Soul Reaver quote in the middle of a video is peak content, thanks Jeremy
