@BPLauNath. I don't which country you live in but the beef are usually cured and sold as seen in the video. The one in the video has red food coloring which helps make the dish color appear nice, there are others without the coloring as well. If you're out of Africa then you can get some in the African stores; ask for Tolo beef from ghana. If you're in any African country go to a West African food shop and also ask for Tolo beef. ❤🎉😊
@@BPLauNath.They add salt to lamb or beef pieces. These pieces are usually fatty cuts. Put it in an airtight container and let it sit for a few days. the longer it sits the better as long as it doesn't develop any foul smell. When you are about to use it, depending on what you want to do, you wash the pieces you want to use or let them soak in water for a while and discard the water. Always be mindful of the salt quantity you add to your meals when including Tooloo Beef in your recipes because the Salt in the Tooloo Beef will add to the salt you add to the food. Search for how to make Tooloo beef on TH-cam and you will find many videos.
@@BPLauNath. if you're a Nigerian, then I guess you know the basic local spices for pepper soup. Those same spices are added to beef or mutton with a generous amount of salt and keep over a period of like 3days. The salt will be drawing water from the meat so you have to be checking it every day and be pouring the water away. Basically negro pepper, cloves and few others are added
Angwamu aka Annointed rice; the poor man's à la carte, the students companion and the busy mother's fast food. Thanks for making it as we do it and most importantly, adding the eggs. Ghanaians and eggs 😅🥚 🇬🇭
Yummy I never thought of that so what ur saying is to substitute with salt fish and cook same exact way?? Do u rinse the salt fish thoroughly 1st? ? As I knw its very very salty..
Yes, you rinse in. It's actually better to soak in water for a while to reduce the salt content. The salted beef is also treated the same way. Otherwise, the meal will be too salty@@mitulu74
Lots of love from Ghana. Please next time add the beef first before the onions so you don't end up with burnt onions causing a change in the colour of the rice. Love you❤
This time, you got every thing right, including pronunciation. I'd love you regardless ❤❤❤❤ Cured beef in Ghana is mostly very salty, please be careful with adding salt... Cheers.
Beautifully done. Thank you for presenting Ghana 🇬🇭 in such a nice way
How did u cure d beef..? I need to mke d dish

Please is it the beef that gave the rice that color?
@@blessingfunbo9633 not really but the onion can change the colour depending on how long u fry the onion
