In this video, I showed up in a Chinese ancient village in Yunnan province, Lijiang city and had great interactions with the Chinese locals. I met some kids who saw a Blackman for the first time and also another foreigner and because I could speak fluent Chinese, I even got into more interesting conversations with the Chinese I met.

Im ethnically Chinese, and my speaking skills are really rusty. I haven’t been back to my home country, and seeing these clips makes me so happy. Thank you for showing me what it’s like as a foreigner, because it brought me back to my childhood for just a moment and I loved it.

I see that the people are friendly, engaging, western even in their attitude and free. Nothing like any of that propaganda stuff we hear. BTW the placed you have been visiting are towns not villages - big difference.
China Central Television has a daily news program that spends its last minute showing foreign earthquakes, tsunamis, fires, shootings, traffic accidents, robberies and protests and strikes. It's all the same. West and East don't like each other.

Amazing multiculturalism in old China. The internet has opened China to new ideas and has opened them up to tourism and business as well. And they have magical mushrooms too! That kind of mushroom originated in Africa but has spread around the world. They are called Psilocybe aka 'blue shroom' and yes they do make people see tiny elves, if enough are eaten. Irish people aren't though, we have our own country completely separate from the UK, we're in the European Union and they aren't. We're a republic, they're a monarchy. We have a much higher gdp per capita than the UK and we had to fight for our independence so it's not surprising we wouldn't want to be called part of the UK. The same way Americans wouldn't want to be called part of the UK, we both fought wars of independence against them.
