He was AMAZING!!! As a fellow Advocate, almost a decade his senior, you really are talented. Please continue to inspire juniors to believe in themselves. You inspire me. 🎉
Thanks Sizwe for bringing this gentleman.. I still can't believe that that was his first trial. He was marvellous and I'm sure for him representing Julius Malema was a boost for his maturity as a lawyer too.
@@_SMWX iam a big fan,I really love your show and the amazing people you put on!!!you show is of great importance for the libations of the modern South African mind!!,thank you and your team for such great and educational content!!
This is the content we sign up for. This is worth buying data and listening to. I always encourage my classmates and friends at school to tune in, watch and listen to this great work. Thank you Sizwe.
Incredible conversation Sizwe!! 💯🙌🏾... when I heard Adv. Mfesane I could tell from his arguments that he’s a machine.👌🏾 South Africa let’s celebrate our own!♥️
What a feast this was! I am a young advocate myself and that discussion on the cab-rank rule and the burden of "solidarity in blackness" on black advocates was so important and good to listen to. It was also great hearing on trials and the craft of advocacy on in trials. But I especially loved Mfesane's discussion on the dichotomy on freedom of speech along Dubul' ibhunu/Apartheid Flag. Great questions also Sizwe..wow! wow! Wow!!!
I think what would have summed this conversation for me is if the good Advocate was asked for a list of his favorite works of literature. Thank you for an inspirational conversation
great channel Sizwe, you are doing the discourse we need! what I'd love to see are your thoughts on these big questions I have: how well have or haven't we done as a country considering 300+ years of oppression, slavery, conflict, corruption, racism, violence? what should the voice of the white man sound like in SA post-colonialism/apartheid? what/when/how do we do this hard work of healing/nation-building? can it be done via education of the kids or diversity/workplace training, or must the proper redress/reparation happen now, or what does it look like?
You never disappoint 👏👏👏brave to ask any question. My fearless Dr. Adv Mfesane do his work effortlessly and his line questioning is unique and he will say Yes, take off his glass and wear again😂
Great. Sizwe I think I enjoy your content and the calibre of guests you invite. You see far more at ease on your own platform. Keep up the good work bro
This guys is a brilliant Advocate, Id hire him for representation over other Snr SCs out there (no names dropped)! Hes always calm and takes his time to make his point and I think he is the one to watch in the legal fratenity! I rate him!!!
Funny thing is that I actually searched up Adv MS, a few days ago.. Little did I know that he was going to be interview by the channel and host that I follow to the T... Danko 🙏
Proud of this character. A very close friend of mine, we used to push each other at Wits. Proud to also mention that I beat him in Admin Law, I always remind him! 😂
My dad used to shout at me at hight school for getting lower marks and today I don't blame him because he always told me that he knew that I was playing because If anyone is serious about what they're doing, they can actually make it, you can make it in whatever you're doing as long as you really doing it passionately 💯🖤
I am fourth year LLB student, however, I so wish do pupilage under his auspices in few years! He is an amazing Adv and I wish to extrapolate his wisdom!
It’s a fine line between being incompetent and being unprofessional (negligent/reckless conduct). The former for me is largely the case with former Adv Teffo. This does not justify his conduct…however we’ve seen worse transgressions and the LPS does nothing. I’m not a fan of clowns in the profession but the LPS needs to apply it’s rules consistently. Great content as always and what a brilliant jurist this chap is!
In terms of appointing at times picking white males Advocates also relates to the amount of preparation for a case and this is displayed by the delivery or execution of the matter in court . I may not have given all black advocates a try but the issue at times is one way other another in that line . Even when your own legal team notes the same and it becomes difficult to keep losing cases due to this issues . May I not be taken to be painting all black advocates with the same brush . Great interview love your work
Advocate Mfesane Ka-Siboto is correct- Adv. Ngcukaitobi SC's stance on the permissibility of zero compensation under S25 in its current form does sterm from that judgment. I think it is the Msiza judgment, I stand to be corrected.

Is there a difference between Boer and just being Afrikaans/Afrikaaner? I'm sorry if this isn't the place to ask but it seems like there's a difference? Atleast in how people talk about it.
Do we ever think that Malema's politics is exactly that, he wants to stretch as possible racial polarisation and be the middle man who stands to benefit from it? His brand of politics is nothing in my view without his overly use of the race card. If he were to stop the racial card he will sound like most politicians except with nationalisation and and. So for me the he is controversial the less he will be famous or understood as a politician.
What an amazing attempt to contort contexts within contexts within contexts. If he doesnt know that in the future such recontextualisation will cause further contradictions of hatred amongst just about any. They may have convinced the equality court judge to make a poor judgement, a proper judge that doesnt get emotionally sucked into what is actually a simple thing. The appeal will very likely be upheld at the end
Sizwe I have admired your from 1st vid you posted on TH-cam, and I believe like everyone there are some areas you can improve on. Extremely
It looks tedious.

He is not so great. It's just because he's black and the judges are ANC or afraid of blacks

This legal mind is certainly going to do wonders for our legal philosophy.
Very educative and informative, Adv Ka-Siboto seems to corroborate what Adv sikhakhane said that Law "fundamentally" politics.
Two great minds, amazing interview
Wooooow I'm amazed by the interview DAMN!!!
Great guest🙏🏿💜
Yoh, Sizwe. Please fix the sound for your podcast. It's too low for us who uses cheap earphones
Great content! So much lessons.🔥🔥👌🏽💯

Haha 👍🏽
I remember the Admin Law classes in my final year. They were fire. It's nice when two great thinkers meet.

The limited and rushed style of Unfiltered is denying the masses the sweetness of Sizwe's style of interviewing.
Two different styles for two different platforms. 🙂

Nice one.
How did Sizwe get an interview with Steve Biko😮?
This is inspiring!
🙏🏽
Doc... Could you please interview Chumani Maxwele.. Let's not limit him to RMF,but allow him to express broadly his opinion.

The Advocate is super awesome, Langa Township claims him as one of their own.
Samuel L. Jackson😅
Lol I was looking for your comment 🤣
😂😂😂
Aowa Sizwe. Do something about the sound, I am cooking here and my fish is louder than the phone
agree
Am I the only one who saw Adv. Mfesane Ka-Siboto as Samuel L Jackson in Avengers as Nicholas Fury? 😭
I see the great Gregory Porter in him as well
What a chat🔥🔥❤
Ayeye 🔥🔥
Kiss the taxis, kiss the passengers is it also free speech? Thank you
Gosh. I feel like my brain exploded. Like my third eye just opened. WTF. Enlightenment?????
He was amazing , love the Range Rover Julius just bought him
Thank you. Always enlightening, you never disappoint. Can I have Sizwe's email please.
sound is horrific
He entered Wits thru "age exemption"? His level of intelligence suggests 7 distinctions🤭
Shout out to Mfesane... Taught me criminal law at Wits

It's "kill the boer" Sizwe, we're no longer romanticising our history because of some European invaders.
I thought this guy was Mangi from scandal
Is that Samuel L jackson's son??
Yh
