    This guy is amazing. I started to follow him after listening to his speech criticizing Israel 2 weeks ago. I am from Malaysia by the way. After listening to most of his videos on youtube, I must say his ability to understand and navigate complex issues demonstrates a keen insight into the challenges facing South Africa. His wisdom in advocating for social and economic reforms such as land redistribution reflects a deep understanding of historical injustices and a commitment to addressing them for the betterment of South Africa. His unwavering commitment to his beliefs and his capacity to inspire others to action are testaments to his charismatic leadership. Keep it up Mr Malema. Let's nationalize everything, when all nationalised (State owned Entities) are in ruin in South Africa. You clearly haven't done your research into the problems facing South Africa bud. Malema speaks to the heart, to the stomach, but not to the head. That's what a populist is. And to boot - he's a racist. Julius is an orator. I love foreign nationals, I used to think that the policy of opening borders was going to lend us into a place where we are overrun by them. But through listening to that President he won me over. I now understand that there are no borders here!! and every foreigner who works here wants to one day go home especially those who are working in conditions, who are facing xenophobia, and the likes of Dudula. CIC is right since the announcement of expired food in our township shops have closed, we now have to shop during the day, you can't get colddrink at 20:00 anymore. You must finish you evening purchases during the day in shops. Other shops are closed, but RSAs do not open those stores after the foreigners leave

      For me he explained it in terms of the economy and that yes it's true they're not taking away meaningful jobs from South Africans. But what about the other resources that we are obligated to share with them? Primarily in health because we can't turn them away but in order to serve them you're literally taking a service away from a South African. Right now it's like a syndicate whereby they come to give birth but sometimes there's complications and both the mother and child require advanced medical care at our costs. How do we resolve that?

      @ntokozosibanyoni1421 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dawg, in the first minute she literally called an anti-Communist regime a Socialist State. You need to educate yourself more, otherwise you'll see these kind of paid off/politically motivated interviewers as being neutral when they are not.
      Btw there's nothing wrong with being biased, all of us are partially motivated to pursue certain fields and interest, and its usually who are partial that do the most for those fields & interest, for better or for worst (for worst in this interviewers case if you ask me but I digress), but your partisanship MUST be rooted in fact or at least tangible evidence. Instead her partisanship is rooted in contemporary Fascist discourse that seeks to equate progressive forces like the USSR & Communist China with Nazi Germany so as to cast Socialist in a bad light.
      & its quite hilarious and ironic when you consider the fact that Fascism is right-wing and the Nazis were ultra right-wing to the extreme, yet here we are in animated fashion in 2023 South Africa (& in the West) where these guys who were sending Socialists to Concentration Camps to be slaughtered, are themselves being considered Socialist.
      The irony is grotesque🤦🏿‍♂️
      As for Malema, its understandable as to why he couldn't take her to task for that mere mention, he isn't a history major, but he should brush up more on the history of Socialism because unfortunately, he doesn't have a choice because you have to understand its history in order to know about its failures so you can successfully avert them. Now he probably left this interview thinking he has an ideology that Hitler would've agreed with. Absolutely laughable 🚮

    • @yoliswababa313
      @yoliswababa313 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@ntokozosibanyoni1421 so, for the interviewer to be on point, she had to satisfy your views and perceptions and ideologies, then you need to educate yourself first before stressing about other's "lack of education".

    • @ntokozosibanyoni1421
      @ntokozosibanyoni1421 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yoliswababa313 I'm clearly more educated on the topic than both of you combined & so ABSOLUTELY. You have to do your research when conducting an interview with a politician. So she absolutely had to satisfy "my views and ideology" because they're NOT MY views and ideology, I didn't create Socialism & Mussolini didn't consult me before he unleashed Fascism in Italy, & anyone who's done adequate research on Socialism wouldn't be afraid of its implementation because he/she thinks an ANTI-SOCIALIST regime like Nazi Germany was supposedly itself socialist. So she either hasn't done the adequate research & is covering it up with bombastic english, or she has an agenda to equate Socialism with its LITERAL antitheses, Fascism. & she has to be called out that because it's basically like trying to say black is white and blue is green, its an inversion of reality that has no place in the discourse.
      Look, Its literally the BARE MINIMUM, what states were socialist around the world? THAT'S IT, & if you're gonna talk about the history of Socialism and can't answer that question then you're clearly out of your depth.
      So know ur place and shut ur mouth, if you don't want to see good faith criticism of an interviewer you liked then don't read the comment section & don't engage simpleton.

    I'm not south african but I love this country and been watching SA politics videos for a long time .
    I will say this : A country is like a collective asset whose owners are the people . These people ,the owners of this asset , employ some individuals ( Politicians ) amongst themselves to protect that asset and to make sure that it grows. So if some outsiders are illegally getting access to your collective asset in front of those who are supposed to protect it for you all, it means those individuals you people employ ARE NOT the right fit for those roles nor have the qualifications for those roles .
    Why blaming the intruder instead of firing the security guard ( politicians) whose role is to protect you ?
    It seems like south africans are missing the target.

Also EFF needs to understand that we were the last colonized country with many disadvantages which our brother in Africa had a good education advantage which most of us cannot compete with them and the rightwing forces are using this fact to create a wedge and cripple our land and economy since they are employing them to keep us very poor.

    Socialism is a political, social, and economic philosophy that advocates for the collective ownership and control of the means of production, which can include industries, factories, and natural resources. The fundamental belief behind socialism is that the means of producing and distributing goods should be owned collectively or by a centralized government that acts in the interest of the people. This stands in contrast to capitalism, where the means of production are largely owned by private individuals or corporations.
    Key Characteristics of Socialism:
    Collective Ownership: One of the primary tenets of socialism is that the resources of an economy and the means of production should be owned, controlled, or regulated by the public or the community as a whole. This can manifest in various ways, such as state ownership of key industries or worker cooperatives.
    Economic Equality: Socialism aims to reduce or eliminate the disparity in wealth and power created under capitalism. This often involves progressive taxation, wealth redistribution, and policies aimed at reducing economic inequality.
    Provision of Basic Needs: Many socialists believe that every individual has a right to basic necessities, such as healthcare, education, and housing. As a result, socialist governments or systems often provide these essentials either freely or at a significant subsidy.
    Centralized Planning: In many socialist economies, planning is centralized to ensure that production meets the needs of all citizens and is not just geared towards profit. This can involve a central authority setting production goals, prices, and resource allocation.
    Worker’s Rights: Socialism places a strong emphasis on the rights of workers and often promotes workers' participation in management decisions, better working conditions, and a living wage.
    Types of Socialism:
    There are several forms and interpretations of socialism:
    Democratic Socialism: This advocates for the adoption of socialist principles within a democratic system. Democratic socialists believe in transitioning to socialism through democratic means rather than revolutionary ones. They often support a mixed economy, where critical industries are nationalized, while others remain privately owned.
    Revolutionary Socialism: This believes in a sudden, forceful transition to socialism, usually through overthrowing the existing system.
    Utopian Socialism: Based on the idea of creating perfect communities with equal distribution of goods, it was more popular in the early stages of socialist thought.
    Marxism-Leninism: This is a form of revolutionary socialism inspired by the works of Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin. It was the guiding philosophy behind the Soviet Union.
    Market Socialism: This advocates for the means of production to be owned collectively but lets market forces decide production and price.
    Eco-Socialism: This combines aspects of socialism with that of green politics, ecology, and anti-globalization.
    Critiques of Socialism:
    Economic Efficiency: Critics argue that centralized planning can lead to inefficiencies, waste, and stagnation.
    Loss of Individual Rights: There are concerns that socialism, especially in its more authoritarian forms, can suppress individual rights and freedoms.
    Incentive to Work: Critics believe that socialism reduces the incentive for people to work hard since rewards are not always based on individual achievement.
    Historical Precedents: Detractors often point to the economic struggles and human rights abuses of 20th-century socialist states as evidence against the system.

      The pragmatism of modern socialism is giving the government ownership and control of the means of production, meaning the government will run all essential services of the economy. South Africa's history with that has been bad. Free market system is demonized because our education system does not equip the people with business fundamentals or skills that are essential for a person to thrive in this capitalist system. SA Government owning land will be a disaster. Lets be honest.

    When someone asks why we should go socialism route when it has actually failed and start mentioning countries to which it had failed. My natural response to them would be to ask, "30 yrs into our so called democracy, how has capitalism worked out for the majority black in South Africa?"
