What stops the tubs overheating on the really hot days, I’m keen to try some outdoor tubs over summer, but it seems like they will get too hot out in the sun.
@carolyngemmell4388 the key is the pond weed, without it they would get to hot for sure. We get days in the mid 40 Celsius so like 110 plus farehheight but the pond weed keeps the water below nice and cool.
I’m on a similar latitude and conditions to you in country Vic. I’ve got lots of duckweed and frogbit, but out in the garden the frogbit wants to burn, so I think I’ll need a more protected spot.
