- It is time to go for broke. I am only one ounce out of the lead going into day 2 and if I can win this round I will automatically qualify to fish championship day. So, I am hoping to jump out to an early lead and not look back. I need to be careful though, I don't want to burn up my areas too much in case I fall short of first today.

I didn't understand your strategy at first by leaving your honey hole, but now I do. By letting Ott take the lead you get to fish another day and you won't be going tit for tat with Ott. Plus you let your best spot rest for 3 days and hopefully win the tournament. Good luck and I hope it pays off in the end can't wait!!

Wait... At one point you and Ott were tied in weight but he was in the lead because he caught more bass? That's pretty backwards if you ask me, catching less and having the same weight is better because that means yours were bigger and that's what should matter.

What scrounged set up you got going on?
I’m a big fan but one mistake you made was you stopped catching at that spot with school of fish in the morning knowing Ott was trailing you and catching a school of bass as well. I understand you want to worry about the next day and all but I know you could have secured that final championship day no doubt but instead it was Ott who took the lead. But at least you learned a huge lesson from this event though.
