@@XBeats_96 So , you are asking what has India betrayed The Punjab. So , it is a huge history. And a history most indians don't know. Before the 1947 partition , in 1929 Congress session , a march was done by Sikh community under the leadership of Baba Kharak Singh. The total number was about 5 Lac. A day after this incident , Mahatma Gandhi , Moti Lal Nehru and Jawaharlal Nehru met Baba Kharak Singh at his residence in Lahore. And promised him no constitution will be made in Free India that will not be accepted by the Sikhs and this Bill was passed by Congress. And till 1950 , the Congress never disagreed but before the Consitution was passed , the Sikh representatives said this was not accepted by them but Jawahar Lal Nehru said in selfishness The time has now changed You should forget now about our deals. After that almost 5 to 6 The British offered the separate country for the Sikh community but every time The Sikhs refused it because they trusted the India but The Indian government firstly gifted them the Partition of Punjab in 1966 and then Operation Blue Star in 1984. Mostly Indians will say this was to capture the terrorists but it is a another misconception of Indians. Firstly Sant ji was not a terrorist. Ask them who have met him like Subramaniyam Swami , the current Cabinet Minister of India. He was called terrorist by government because he asked for the rights of Sikhs. I recommend all of you to read Suhird Sant Khalsa by Bhai Jasvir Singh Khalsa ( former head of Akal Takht Sahib and Sant Ji's brother son.
