    This is the most fascinating rendering of the "Winter Wind" Etude I've ever heard.
    Amazing, stylishly individualized playing!

      @@chrisczajasager I have indeed! I know that Josef Lhevinne's recording is often mentioned as the greatest performance of the
      "Winter Wind" etude. I agree that's it excellent, beyond a doubt. But I love the originality and sensitively flexible nature of Mr. Gekic's performance here. He never seems to just go through the motions at the piano and doesn't sound like just another conservative pianist paying their dutiful and non-risk-taking homage. Nothing wrong at all with paying homage, of course! But I always appreciate it when a pianist dares to bring out something we don't usually here in "standard performances of the standard repertoire." And Mr. Gekic so often has a freshness in his playing that perks me up!

    Truly impressive, original, and highly daring, IMHO! You bring out notes and themes which nobody else has done in this fireworks of piano etude. Bravo; bravissimo, Kemal!
