Yes, it is probably my favorite of all I have done from law enforcement to trucking to mechanic. Even more than actual grading. Just a machine and operator against the storm. :)
We had a record snow year last year with a season total of over 19 feet and usually had 4 to 5 feet on the ground. I haven't checked for sure but my records are that we are a little under normal this year but still plenty to plow. Thanks.
I see you have a cable to raise and lower the wing tip. Is that better than one with a cylinder to raise and lower. I can see where the cable would have some give when hitting something solid.
It does have more give but less control. As you may have noticed the toe of the wing come up on me when the heal dug in with the rear wing strut on a little angle down. The cylinders hold the blade position better and function a little more quickly. I think cable is old school now and they use relief valves in the hydraulics to protect cylinder operated wings now. Thanks.
