I used to watch shamsis video and enjoyed watching them but after watching his back and forth with brother muhammad hijab, who I really like listening to, and also now this video I have come to realise shamsi lacks basic manners and cannot let the opponet get a word in sideways. The later Ash‘aris do not adhere to the madhhab of Hasan al-Ash‘ari, rahimahullah, rather they are influenced by many of the principles of the Jahamis and Mu‘tazilah, and even of the philosophers, and they differ with al-Ash‘ari regarding many of his views.
They deny the divine attributes of rising over the Throne (istiwaa), coming down to the lowest heaven (in the last third of the night), the Hand, the Eye, the Foot, and speech. With regard to all these divine attributes, they differ with al-Ash‘ari himself.
The phrase Ahlul sunnah may be used in two ways:
In contrast to the Raafidis Shia. In this case, the phrase Ahlul Sunnah includes the Ash‘aris, the Maturidis and so on, and even the Mu‘tazilah.
The phrase Ahlul Sunnah may be used in contrast to the people of bid‘ah (innovation). In this case, what is meant is the people of the Sunnah in the true sense, that only includes those who adhere to sound belief, *namely the salaf and ahlul hadith* .. In this case, the phrase does not include the Ash‘aris or others who mix their theological principles (‘ilm al-kalam) with some innovated principles, because they differ with Ahlul Sunnah regarding many principles and issues.
The later Ash‘aris were Jabris with regard to the divine decree, Murji’ah with regard to faith, they denied the divine attributes and did not affirm any of them except seven, because they could be proven rationally, or so they claimed. They denied Allah’s rising above the Throne (istiwaa’), Above His creation, and they said: He is neither within nor without the universe, neither above it nor below it… And there were other differences too. So how can we call them Ahlul Sunnah?

Just a quick and genuine suestion for the "salafis" in Aqida. Do you (your shouyoukh) consider asharis and Maturidis like kuffar or equivalent as chiaas or better than shiaa but out of Ahl ul sunna or part of Ahl ul sunna but a little misguided ?

I used to watch shamsis video and enjoyed watching them but after watching his back and forth with brother muhammad hijab, who I really like listening to, and also now this video I have come to realise shamsi lacks basic manners and cannot let the opponet get a word in sideways. He shouts and screams constantly, he will speak for 5 minutes straight without interruptions but when the opponent speaks he cuts him off straight away. Shamsi is good against atheists and Christians but when a muslim challenges him he just acts very rudely, shouts and then runs off. He has become a celebrity in speakers corner, he attracts the youth but you have to be careful not to take everything and also to go and cross reference what he says.

No, only the prophet and his companions have the authority of ta'weel in purpose of clarification with the prophet. that's why there's no Ashari-maturidi games and just "we hear and obey" radiyallahu anhum.

و لكن في الحديث " فَيَكْشِفُ عن سَاقِهِ، فَيَسْجُدُ له كُلُّ مُؤْمِنٍ، ويَبْقَى مَن كانَ يَسْجُدُ لِلَّهِ رِيَاءً وسُمْعَةً " فنسبت الساق لله و لذلك قلنا بها
و ابن عباس نفسه كبقية الصحابة لم يقولوا أن الظواهر تجسيم كما قالت الأشاعرة الجهمية ، بل قد أثبت صفة العين ، و كذا القدم " عَن ابْن عباسٍ أَنه قَالَ: " الكُرْسِيُّ: موضعُ القدمينِ ، وأَما العَرْشُ فإنَّهُ لَا يُقدرُ قدرهُ " و إسناده صحيح لا فأوّل الآية و أثبت الصفات لا كما قلتم يا أشاعرة

The problem with shamsi all of the time is that he will cut people off whilst they are talking but when he gets interrupted in the same way as he cuts people off he goes on a tantrum, shamsi c'mon bro, may Allah swt reward you for all the work and dawah you are doing but many a times you don't let people talk and finish their point of argument, and many a times when you are deemed to be wrong you can never hold your hands up and admit ok I was wrong there, it's ok bro we are all human and we can be wrong at times and also learn of others at times, but it seems that shamsi never likes to admit that he was or is wrong and never likes to take a Loss in whether it's a debate or an argument or even a simple discussion between them on camera, it's entirely normal and ok to be wrong at times if you really are wrong, but don't let that ego and arrogance get in the way of your humbleness to admit that you are or was in the wrong if you truly was, as I said it's entirely normal and ok we are all human at the end of the day and not perfect in any way shape or form
