Sorry in advance for the long rant. It would be appreciated if you could please pray for my job search as i've been unemployed for the past 3 months. I've been applying everywhere and i didn't get called back for any interviews. It makes me feel down and demotivated and i start attaching my self value to my job applications. Rejection is so hard. There are also times where i feel like giving up on my job search and starting a travel blog (which has been a dream of mine since i was younger). All in all, i'm still trying to get through this. As a homeowner. Front loader drums wears out worse than top loaders. This is very true when it comes to the washer. The rubber seal also degrades over time which can cause a leak. It will cost the same as a brand new to replace. Problem is finding the matching Washer with your dryer 5 yrs down the road when the washer gives out. We opted to go top on our replacement washer. Never looked back.
Not me sobbing from joy from looking at the clips from your home and seeing the swimming pool complete, whenever I see your swimming pool - I am reminded that God still answers prayers!! The description and the end clip was so good - you learn so much about who a person is based on their response in frustrating seasons. What you learn doesn't always need to be bad but it can show you how to love on that person when they're faced with something frustrating Also, loved all the law and order soundtrack clips Bless you guys, praying for you in this season of busyness!💛.

I'm a homeschooling mom to 4. I got jury duty and my husband was so confident I would be home asap. It turned into 5 days from 8am to 4-5pm 🤣😂 The 5 most boring days if my life!!!! Ugh!

Aww I'm lil disappointed Tori got released because I was way too much excited knowing she's gonna go for jury duty 😁 But now I'm so much more happy because new house is on its way and I understand that is very much important and jury duty might be more work ❤❤💯 God does things at the right time ❤
I was called once for jury duty. Went to the courthouse and my group was called but my group was the back up group so once the lawyers asked questions to the other group. We listen and sat there for a while then got released from service.
I've been summoned three times in CA for Jury Duty. Served once. I also sat on a couple of Courts Martial boards in the military (and got dismissed from three more -- turns out military defense attorneys don't like former Squadron Commanders on the Court Martial panel -- I guess they figure we'll be biased; which is a base canard. Either that, or they figure they can't put as much over on us, since we are familiar with the system...). The civilian case I sat one was bungled by the prosecutor, and even though we all figured the perp was guilty, we couldn't get past that whole "reasonable doubt" thing and felt we had to let him go. Fortunately it wasn't a physical assault case of any kind, nor was it B&E, both of which I think we might have been a lot more reluctant to dismiss.

My mom had a similar situation as you, Tori, where she was summoned, found a babysitter for me and my sister, drove downtown and paid too much for parking, just to get sent home an hour later because they didn't need jurors. She's gotten called in 5 times but hasn't been chosen or had an excuse not to each time. 😅
@@ToriAndChad Same thing happened to me when I was stationed overseas in Berlin, Germany. El Paso summoned me twice, and both times I wrote a nice letter to the court explaining the situation. The second time they informed me that they would be issuing a warrant for my arrest for not showing up to Jury Selection. I wrote another nice letter, this time on unit letterhead (and including my original letter of explanation as an attachment -- I kept copies of everything back in those days), and told them I would be perfectly happy to attend Jury Selection if they would pay for my travel to and from El Paso and Berlin, GE. Never heard back from them, so that was a bust...I was hoping for a paid vacation! Back in 1987, that was. 😁

I wrote another nice letter, this time on unit letterhead (and including my original letter of explanation as an attachment -- I kept copies of everything back in those days), and told them I would be perfectly happy to attend Jury Selection if they would pay for my travel to and from El Paso and Berlin, GE. Never heard back from them, so that was a bust...I was hoping for a paid vacation! Back in 1987, that was. 😁

I've had jury duty before , it wasn't to bad.
I think in some ways it could be fun!
@@ToriAndChad I was a little nervous at first but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be, and the lady judge was super nice so that made it easier for me.
