My encouragement today has to do with having joy. Tori and I are planning a trip soon where we go away together for a little get away and just dream! We think about work, about family, about goals, passions etc! I was talking to a friend about the trip and he said as you all are talking about intense things make sure that 50% of what you are planning is something that brings you joy! It will help carry the conversations and you both will be excited to do this in the future… now that got me thinking. Instead of me practicing the joy “component” at this meeting, why don’t I do that in every day life. Where I choose to meditate, think on, celebrate, talk about things that bring joy instead just talking about all the craziness the world has been experiencing and whatever hardship I have that day. So here I am! Trying to make sure that at least 50% of the things I spend time thinking about and talking about are joyful things. I think this will truly impact my mood and how I can hopefully encourage others!

yeah we sure hope so! all of us guys still talk every 2 or 3 days but it was just so much to handle in the midst of everything happening in the world, time zones, and all 3 of us developing our own things too!

Congratulations to you guys for hitting 3 million!! And I completely get celebrating other peoples successes whilst in a season of waiting for your own.. myself and my mum are currently waiting to move house and everywhere I look there’s someone with a moving van or someone in my life is either getting married or pregnant.. or moving house. So we got to that point where we would just thank the Lord for when our day comes! Whenever we see a moving van.. we thank the Lord! If someone in our lives are moving house we would celebrate with them and I feel like God really honours you when you do that because your choosing to be thankful for someone else’s successes instead of being spiteful! 💕✨

I just want to say thank you sooo much for posting this! Me and my spouse have been together 10 years, we are eerily in a similar place to you both. Currently hoping for a little bambino to be on the way soon, but just have to trust in the process, and not obsess over it. Hearing you guys talk about your opinions makes me feel a lot better, as am struggling with the feels while my best friend is pregnant. Also as weird as it is, thanks for bringing up the privacy in the bathroom thing. I can’t tell you how many times people pass the comment that being able to be in the bathroom with each other openly is when you know you have a strong connection. This is not true! when you book a hotel room, you’re actually paying for the amenities provided in the room (except the Mini-bar) so it makes sense to take them with you or use them during your stay (the shampoos,conditioners etc.)

So I work in hotels and hospitality and let me tell you, take the shampoo and conditioner. If you like them and want extra just ask the front desk or housekeeping person. I bet they would just give you a bag of them honestly! We love to make our guests happy and that’s an inexpensive way to do that 😍
