NOW FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT! This is a fun one because it is something I legit just experienced. I was having a bad day the other day and when that happens I typically just want to self medicate... whether that is texting 1000 people to distract myself, to eating junk food, or to set aside my stress and just spam watch a TV show. It's normal to want to feel good when we feel bad... however, this time it was different. I had been trying to get motivated to go to the gym for the longest time and I finally negotiated with myself saying "if I go to the gym, I can go get taco bell after" and it's a win/win. Well that was the plan until I got finished working out. Afterwards, I didn't want taco bell anymore. In-fact, I wanted to actually eat healthy. And it dawned on me. Good habits attract other good habits. And bad habits attract other bad habits. It's true for everyone. We all are susceptible to falling into a spiral of bad habits, but did you know the same is true of good habits? We just need the discipline to try! So it is true that if we give up our life (immediate desires) we will find life (and life abundant)! But if we constantly try to make the most out of our life (following our feelings and every impulse) we lose it. (Matt 16:25)

Hi Tori and Chad! I’m so happy for y’all! My name is Abby and I am 16. I have really been struggling with anxiety and depression lately. My mom had a botched surgery a few years ago and is now always in chronic pain which is really hard because I have a younger brother and my dad works full time and we have 9 pets and I take care of everything around the house and it stresses me out. I’ve been struggling with my relationship with God because I have a hard time accepting that everything he does is good . Luckily I have amazing friends who are helping me and I’m going through a church camp in a few weeks so I’m hoping I can get closer to Him through that. Watching your videos has really helped me with accepting that God is good and every hardship is for a reason. I would really love if you could pray for me so continue to grow closer to him and for my mom to be relieved of her constant pain. Love y’all!

First of all, I'm new to your channel and I love that you're doing youtube the way that you are. Being so real and raw with everything and showcasing your faith the way that you do, is so inspiring to me! You guys are on my prayer list now :) Something that God has really been teaching me is that it's okay for me to just sit with Him and figure out how I'm feeling about everything while I'm with Him. I don't have to have my emotions all figured out before I come to Him. It sounds pretty basic in some ways, but it is bringing me SO much life!!
I’ll be 18 weeks this Sunday! We’re so close☺️ that’s precious. Our baby was an unexpected surprise but I am so thankful to God for the life inside of me💞 Still doesn’t feel real yet!

Love the idea of nursery on bottom level along w your master bedroom and kitchen - you will spend the majority of newborn life around naptime and in the kitchen and sleep so that is so genius!

I feel like God is teaching me how to go back to the basics of being loved by Him and wanting to be in His presence. I’ve been away at school and I haven’t been putting God first and I’ve seen the way it impacts my life. Therefore, I feel like God just wants me to be with Him and I’m learning how to do that all over again

Wow I am so thankful for finding y’all’s channel! This was the first of y’all’s TH-cam videos that I have watched and I was so encouraged and will definitely be sticking around. I am sixteen and in a season of big changes and I want God to be in the center of all that is going on. I feel myself being pulled away by what I want and I hate to admit that I usually give in and I also catch myself going through the motions. I love what y’all said about telling yourself no and the joy that can come from spending time with the Lord! 17:24 I feel like God is teaching me to trust Him in the midst of doubt, worry and anxiety...trust that He will make a way for me and turn things around ❤ Earlier I was worried and depressed about something but God reminded me that worry cannot change a thing nor add a second to my life so why do it?
Instead trust that He will make a way and just be patient and wait on Him 🙇🏾♂️
God has taught me to trust in His will 100% knowing His will is perfect and that when I surrender all of me (including my heart, my mind and my will) to His will, whatever happens after that will be for the best because God makes no mistakes. I used to say "may His will be done" but wasn't saying it so confidently because deep down I really wanted certain things so badly. However, with my spiritual growth over time and certain things of this world being stripped away as I focused more on my walk with Christ and cleaving to Him, I'm now able to truly say "may His will be done" confidently, knowing when certain things don't go my way I now have the grace to truly trust that His will is truly for the best. He has reasons for everything happening in my life the way they are because I've truly surrendered all of me to Him. As we live in what I believe to be the last days, I'm truly grateful for the lessons God keeps teaching me and for awakening me from my slumber🙏🏾

I just recently stumbled upon your channel and I know it was the Lord's will for my life for that to happen. I am so happy for you both and for the gift God has given you. :) One thing that I believe God is teaching me in my life is learning how to trust His will and especially His timing which is perfect. As someone that is fully serving in ministry and is in a season of singleness, it can get a bit difficult and frustrating. However, God has been teaching me how to apply and remind myself of the promise found in Romans 8:28. I thank the Lord for your lives and the ministry that the Lord has given you. I pray many blessings for your family. :)
@Abby, take heart and wait on the Lord. Our daughter was also single until this Monday. She was very involved in her church ans Accapella group, working and taking a course. She never looked for a relationship, or believed in being the pursuer, but deep down always did wish she would find someone. She waited on the Lord and God sent her a godly man and both of them had been waiting for the right partner. He was the one to ask if he could court her and she said yes. Their faith is important to both of them and they didn't live together before marriage. They both had a birthday 1 week before the wedding, he turned 29 and she 26. They are both very happy. When it is the right time and if it's meant to be God will send you the perfect partner.

Our daughter was not willing to settle for just anyone, and remaining pure and saving herself for the man God meant for her to be with, was very important to her and having things of faith in common and similar goals for their lives, so she can with her husband help more people come to know Jesus as friend and Savior, was also something she wanted in a future husband and he a wife. Patience paid off for both of them. I thought she was going to be single for a lot longer and then BAM, it all happened so fast, all in God's timing. I wish you the best and I know God will reward your faithfulness, just as He did with Tory and Chad and our daughter and her brand new hubby.

God has been reminding me of His faithfulness and sufficiency. I'm a college student, and last semster was so hard. I know He is calling me to get back into His word and presence, and to focus on Him and not a specific outcome I want for the future. I'm really grateful for your encouragement. such a great video! y’all definitely did what you came to do and I am so encouraged from watching y’alls videos and seeing how you live your lives! I’m so happy for y’all and this next season y’all are going to enter. such a blessed baby to have y’all ❤️ what God has been teaching me is that it’s not always about me. I need to stop putting the spotlight on me and my problems because that’s not where my focus needs to be. this season has been such a hard one because God has been pulling at ya girl and really doing some heart surgery and it’s been such a humbling experience. I also have been feeling the resistance that Chad has and my determination has definitely been tested with God. I’m a HUGE fan of Romans too Tori, specifically Romans 8! I don’t know why but I always go back there because that whole chapter does so much for me!
God is teaching me that if I put all my complete trust in him, he will provide and he will make a way. I was about to move 11 hours for grad school on Friday, and Monday I found out I got into a school in my home state. Such a blessing to be near family. I love you guys encouragement. 💛
One thing God is teaching me is TRUST. My husband and I are taking a major leap of faith financially and God is constantly reminding me to look to the Father and not the finances. He is THE Provider. He is always always making ways when there seems to be none.
Also… Super super excited for Baby Masters! 💗💙

Similar to Chad, I feel like I'm being challenged by the Lord for more devotional time with Him. Saying no to what I want to do and yes to what he wants to speak to me for the day 🙏🏽 also not allocating time to people who treat friendship/connection as a disposable thing! I’m so so so happy for you guys, God timing is perfect, thank you for letting us be part of your praying army. Rn, God has taught me to trust him as he has changed my entire career life, I am currently a mom to a 6 months old baby and studying law from scratch, it’s hard BUT it so worthy beacause it is his plan for us. IN GOD WE TRUST.
LOVE hearing about what God’s been teaching you lately 🥰 God’s been teaching me about joy and confidence in waiting on Him. I’m waiting on some big life changes that He’s promised me, and He’s showing me that I don’t have to sit in fear and anxiety while waiting, but I can rejoice in the hope that He’s going to come through!
