London Bridge, an ordinary looking, low stone bridge, needed to be replaced, and in the 1960s was sold to a group of American investors who thought they were buying Tower Bridge. Despite their huge error, the actual London Bridge was shipped to Lake Havasu, Arizona and rebuilt there. Just a bit of curious history.

I LOVE London! Paris pretty in the central arrondissements but boy is it awful in parts! Favourite cities are London, Buenos Aires and Lisbon!

YESSSS! To this comment.. hardly any tourists go out West beyond Notting Hill/Chelsea way. Richmond, Kew and Chiswick are a MUST!
