They also (within the last couple of weeks) said they loved Jason on his birthday and Abbie on her birthday. I posted on Josiah and Lauren's IG and tagged the other accounts. there is always so much dark drama in the duggar family. Particularly in contrast to "the little couple"--which I watched recently and read comments about. Interestingly both families have strong religious convictions, they are both unusual families and they both are on TLC . The comments about "the little couple" are overwhelmingly positive and the comments about the Duggars are very critical. There is a sense of distrust and a dark side to the Duggars. There is lots of infighting, law enforcement involvement and sources who indicate that Jim Bob rules the family with an iron fist. When I watch "the little couple" I usually have a smile on my face because they smile and show so much love for each other. but when I watch the Duggars i usually feel suspicious and confused by all the contradictions in their life style. Just creeped out! Also the Duggar kids never seem overjoyed or genuinely attached to each other. even this birthday message to jill feels contrived. IMO.

After losing my sister in 2014 my mom in 2018 you can agree not to agree but love them communicate because you can't recover time lost. It will tare you apart reliving all arguments and time apart in anger. After going back through the family's Instagram and Jill's I'm kinda getting the vibe is more between Derrick and Jill's parents and TLC. I think jill is caught in the middle. I dont doubt anything derick has said about TLC, but I think derick has said some things that has been for the purpose of publicly defaming the family. Where jill might feel some different way now, but still wants to contain some relationships within the family she's commented in the last year on certain posts, and vice versa. I think the parents see derick outspokenness as really affecting their image and brand. If you look back they celebrated Israel birthday at a park without derick being in any photographs within the last two years. So I kind of get the vibe that until recently like 2018 and 2019 when there was more speculation of a rift (instead of full on interviews and quotes from derick, like we have now) that she was able to maintain a minimal relationship with her family as long as derick was distant. Perhaps that was also his choice. I dont know. I get two different stories from all their social media, plus interviews. And there's probably a middle ground between both. I think derick intentionally created a rift (perhaps necessary) between jill and her family because he was angry about not being compensated properly for the show, or at least feeling like he wasnt getting money like he should have. I'm sure the strain that having two children in a hospital with surgery is not a cheap expense and added pressure to jill and derick for him to be more vocal about their earnings. I don't know. I get a sketchy vibe from both her parents and derick and I feel like jill is caught in between trying to find her self

I thought the post was pretty cold and fake compared to the posts for Michelle and Jim Bob's daughter in laws!! They didn't say the loved Jill, or that she was precious or anything very loving. Whereas for Abbie and Lauren they state ''we love you dearly'' and ''love you so much''. Jill is their DAUGHTER wtf. Also, very disappointed no other siblings gave her a birthday post, just stories. I also think Jill most likely called or texted her Mom on Mother’s Day and the same for responding about the Birthday post, she probably called or texted to thank her personally. Jill seems too nice a person to totally snub her Mother and she seems more the type to do things in person or over the phone text/call rather than posting on social media; especially where it will just get so much criticism and mar the whole reason for the post. I do think that Jill and Derick should have been paid for their time on both 19 & counting and Counting on. They gave their time and energy towards it so, I don’t know. The important piece to me is that Jim Bob and Michelle the predator promoters were suppose to be off the TLC Duggar show and now they show up on every single show. Psychopath Michelle forces herself into the birth of her daughter in laws births. WHY TLC are you letting those people who covered up the abuse and then forced their daughters to accepts the abuse and forgive him before they even got to process it. Parents do not report their children to the police. They try to handle these things. This stuff happens. Shame is involved as is they want the kid to get better and not go to jail. Incorrect. A normal parent would get licensed therapy for their perp child and report it to law enforcement IN ADDITION to licensed therapy for the victims. None of that happened with the Duggars. Josh's form of therapy was getting his head shaved in front of his church and then getting to do manual labor. The victims got nothing. No therapy, no professional help and we're basically told to forgive him or else.

Jill hasn’t been posting as much as of late, I hope everything is okay! I did think it was odd when I saw they had posted a happy birthday to her when they don’t say much about her.
Not taking any sides here, but don’t you think they are kind of damned if they do, damned if they don’t here? I mean really? They would receive backlash for not posting anything to her and now that they did, we’re totally picking it apart! I get it to a degree....I never post anything because I can definitely understand the backlash against them but come on guys...we gotta give them a little credit...we’re all only human here...
I always thought it was ironic that they sold their souls to TLC, a network they wouldn’t even allow to be on TV in their home.
I think it it's all about damage control, especially since neither Jill nor Derick placed a "like" on the post. Plus, there hasn't been a post directed to Jill, Derick or the boys in almost 3 years and now all of a sudden, they are all getting Birthday posts. Plus, if it was sincere and the families were getting along, wouldn't Jill and Derick have liked it? Plus, to me, this photo just looks strange. It might be because Michelle took it but I think it looks like it was photoshopped.
It seems that ever since certain topics were talked about on this channel that Michelle has been going out of her way to rectify what was talked about.

After going back through the family's Instagram and Jill's I'm kinda getting the vibe is more between Derrick and Jill's parents and TLC. I think jill is caught in the middle. I dont doubt anything derick has said about TLC, but I think derick has said some things that has been for the purpose of publicly defaming the family. Where jill might feel some different way now, but still wants to contain some relationships within the family she's commented in the last year on certain posts, and vice versa. I think the parents see derick outspokenness as really affecting their image and brand. If you look back they celebrated Israel birthday at a park without derick being in any photographs within the last two years. So I kind of get the vibe that until recently like 2018 and 2019 when there was more speculation of a rift (instead of full on interviews and quotes from derick, like we have now) that she was able to maintain a minimal relationship with her family as long as derick was distant. Perhaps that was also his choice. I dont know. I get two different stories from all their social media, plus interviews. And there's probably a middle ground between both. I think derick intentionally created a rift (perhaps necessary) between jill and her family because he was angry about not being compensated properly for the show, or at least feeling like he wasnt getting money like he should have. I'm sure the strain that having two children in a hospital with surgery is not a cheap expense and added pressure to jill and derick for him to be more vocal about their earnings. I don't know. I get a sketchy vibe from both her parents and derick and I feel like jill is caught in between trying to find her self

I want Michelle to be free to. I've always felt she'd be a lot nicer if she wasn't forced to be subservient and responsible for everything the kids do. I've always felt that she gets corrected just as much as the kids. When jim bob got with her she had bulimia. From personal experience people with ed's are very vulnerable and impressional. As we all know he took her vulnerability and ran with it. Now she is stuck and believes this is true love.

Respectfully, don’t kid yourself about Michelle Duggar! She is just as conniving as JB, believe me! Look at how she looks at JB, he is her God! She adores him! Do you remember how the two of them acted when they double dated with Jessa and her fiancé, at the time? They were disgusting! Michelle let him have his hands all over her and even picked her up, in front of them and Michelle says to Jessa, “you can’t do this until you’re married!” Would you flaunt you and your husband’s sexuality in front of your twenty something daughter? They are supposed to be SO religious and then act that way. PLUS, having their minor children go on dates, as Jessa’s chaperone!?! If she didn’t like the way JB is and that religion, she would never have had all those children. JB and Michelle are losing control over their adult married children and THAT is exactly their problem. They are very afraid, that some of their very shady secrets, might leak out when the kids start having a “normal” life! I can only imagine how free, those adult kids feel, now that they have their own home, spouse and children! They are finally waking up to a whole new world! Michelle and JB need to go home and raise their younger children, now that their older “slaves”, are free!

I think it can be hard to separate from your parents. It could be more for her healing and less for others. Or a way to remain there for her siblings. I think she supports her husband but nervous. Which I get. I hope they find a good place to be. That would ne terrible to stuck in between.

I thought the post was pretty cold and fake compared to the posts for Michelle and Jim Bob's daughter in laws!! They didn't say the loved Jill, or that she was precious or anything very loving. Whereas for Abbie and Lauren they state ''we love you dearly'' and ''love you so much''. Jill is their DAUGHTER wtf. Also, very disappointed no other siblings gave her a birthday post, just stories. Speaks volumes.

I think prairie dresses are the cutest thing ever. Especially on kids, oh my goodness. I really want some but I don’t know where to buy them. Also, I’m not sure if I’m ready to stand out that much from main stream society.

I think “Mrs. Joyfully Available” is trying to show people SHE wants a relationship with Jill and her grandkids. I also think Jill most likely called or texted her Mom on Mother’s Day and the same for responding about the Birthday post, she probably called or texted to thank her personally. Jill seems too nice a person to totally snub her Mother and she seems more the type to do things in person or over the phone text/call rather than posting on social media; especially where it will just get so much criticism and mar the whole reason for the post. I’m looking forward to the tell all! For the kids’ sake, the ones still at home, I hope something happens for the better and they are given the opportunity to actually “LIVE!”

I don’t know... I kind of think that derick is in fact telling the whole truth, but then again- I could be totally or a bit wrong! I do think that Jill and Derick should have been paid for their time on both 19 & counting and Counting on. They gave their time and energy towards it so, I don’t know. I just think that they should have been paid and not used. I also think that JB made a drastically huge mistake of not sending Jill or the other girls to the best therapist(s) that money can buy. Shame on him and M for not reporting josh for a long, long time as well. A whole bunch of mistakes and dirt that JB & M did... good luck to Jill and Derick though. They have my full support!!

I can't say, I blame Jill, after all Michelle, had a obligation to her children, even if it was your own son doing things to your daughters, rather than ignore and not say anything. I think a lot of people on here are missing the point. Look at all the girls that are continuing to separate thereselfs from there family. When you go on tv and your trying to calm your this perfect family there are of coarse hidden cracks within the family. Sure enough eventually some came forth down the road. I don't think Derrick is trying to calm he's perfect. But, you all have to understand he married Jill and, therefore he got to know more about what was going on. And, besides to be on a relatity show, I'm sure there are all kinds of ins and out, not to mention what it probably takes and how it cuts into ones personal time. Then, to not be compensated for it and find out there is more to the story, layers upon layers. You got to understand this now involves him and his family, I mean think about what all being a husband and what that job entails. Not to mention how it effects him and his family, can't say, I blame him and he's within his right to do so. So, say what you wish and pass your opinions and judgements, just remember there are 2 sides to every story, your just wanting to fault Derrick causes he's chosing to stand-up to Jim Bob rather than sitting and being silent rather than being idile and letting it go.

Nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors. Nobody should assume what's going on Beyond closed doors. Yes they put themselves out there and have done some strange stuff that I don't approve of, so I just stopped watching. Not my circus not my monkeys.

The important piece to me is that Jim Bob and Michelle the predator promoters were suppose to be off the TLC Duggar show and now they show up on every single show. Psychopath Michelle forces herself into the birth of her daughter in laws births. WHY TLC are you letting those people who covered up the abuse and then forced their daughters to accepts the abuse and forgive him before they even got to process it. Not to mention you made them go on tv and speak about it. No wonder Jill doesn’t want you around. Jim bob and Michelle need to back off tv and let their family heal.

Parents do not report their children to the police. They try to handle these things. This stuff happens. Shame is involved as is they want the kid to get better and not go to jail. Seriously

Incorrect. A normal parent would get licensed therapy for their perp child and report it to law enforcement IN ADDITION to licensed therapy for the victims. None of that happened with the Duggars. Josh's form of therapy was getting his head shaved in front of his church and then getting to do manual labor. The victims got nothing. No therapy, no professional help and we're basically told to forgive him or else.
