- This is the longest flipbook I've ever made ,
I drew over 1400 drawings to capture the most memorable Iron Man VS Thanos moments
There were the days I worked more than 10 hours and until 2:00 in the morning every day.
I planned to draw only 1000 drawings, but I was not satisfied so I drew 400 more drawings .

I mean, the talent is there, no doubt, probably like many drawers there... But, What the **** is that patience and dedication to use that talent for a flipbook, who else would do 1400 drawings for 1 minute video, that's insane.
That dedication is the true talent.
I'd do it too for TH-cam, just imagine 42m views, say about $42k @ $10 per 1,000 views / approx 736 hrs = about $57 per hour. Not many jobs pay that, and probably multiple income streams to add to that. Respect :)

As an artist myself, I'd have been satisfied with finishing just one frame. To do the same images over and over with only slight variations and in that much detail... that's dedication.

but you also need to keep the same level of shading on each page or it'd look bad so this is ridiculously impressive!
It was awesome. But the shading isn't perfect at all. If it was perfect, it would have looked like a low res, black and white movie. It looks like a flip book instead.

It's not talent. It's dedication. You can have all the talent in the world but not be willing to put in the time to create great things. Yes, they are obviously talented, but what's much more impressive is the dedication.

But nearly anyone can make anything if they put in the time to do it. Anyone can learn to shade and make human forms. It just takes time and effort. That being said, calling someone who just spent 700+ hours making a flip book talentless seems a bit rude. With your argument you can say that anyone who makes realistic art or uses reference is talentless, which just isn't true. Idk if you make art, but artists throw shit out all the time, and using reference is absolutely essential to making convincing art.

He said he spent 737 hours of works, if we assume he was working 8 hours a day would take 92 calendars days without assuming he works 7 days a week, and those 8 hours are without counting coffee time, rest time, etc.
Was thinking same thing. Had to have been a lot of down time during Covid.

back in my day this is how all animation was achieved
For most people copying preexisting images is actually easier than making new ones, as you don't have to put as much effort in to things like body shapes and such. Of course though, still 1000+ images.
