Color looks nice. But Im not a big fan of the forged carbon. Even on real cars dont like the look. I prefer original carbon weave.
The forged carbon looks more like Camo than carbon. Otherwise the build looks great

I need help, Not sure why after using MR super clear UV on my water slide decal will cause wrinkle and bumbling. how do i solve this problem? =(
clear coat was applied 5 days after water slide decal is settle down
Hey, i think your 1st layer is too thick? If so, try to spray 1-2 layers of mist coats 1st to prevent the decal melting/soaked because its too wet. Hope this helps😁

I can't wait to get off of work and watch this. I have been fighting the urge to buy the kits and build one myself.
I'm not a fan of the forged carbon decals. Something seems off on them, they look like some kind of pattern rather than the randomness that real forged carbon tends to be.

Not a huge fan of this forged carbon fiber. I think if they made the chopped tow look smaller it would look better and if they blended the colors a bit more instead of making it stand out.
I like the color of the car, but I’m do not like the carbon fiber stuff at all.

In my opinion forget carbon in scale would be look better if you use little smoked clear coat, maybe with one or two drops of black.
I already sprayed 2-3 layers of smoke black actually just dint show it in the video..without the smoke black it's even bad looking😅😂
Any recommendations or tips for beginners who want to dive in deep with airbrushing and stuff?
Hi, if you're looking for long term use, always go with better products😁 compressor can go with bigger capacity. Cheaper stuff might have issues😅

More colour varieties and 2k clear is more solid than 1k(spray cans)

@@JHHobby the two die cast customise and restoration projects you did (S2000 & 350Z) are they just as easy to get custom parts etc as are available for model kits?
@@jakerubino3233 I think they should, and not just that, you can go to a hardware store and probably pick up 2mm PLA plates as well as sculpting putty, to make your own body kits.

How did you glue everyrhing on the body after that without any damadge to the paint
Some kit is easier to put them on, like this kit, they already made a spot for u to glue and put them together😄
@@JHHobby lucky if you have one even if you do for me usually it slips and ruins the paintwork it happened on my 67' gt500 while puting on the rear bumper

The forged carbon is nice but the pattern is out of scale here. They're usually a lot smaller.

@@JHHobby Yes, it looks more like some urban camo, not carbon. This scale might work on some 1/8 or 1/6 scale.

What air pressure do you use for the airbrush and for applying 2K coat?
Normally i use very high pressure for clearcoat..not sure what psi im on😅
a matte clear would be cool to not sold on the carbon fiber though

@@JHHobby it doesn’t look like forged carbon is the only problem. Personally sticking with the regular carbon is better because it makes the model look real. Maybe once it’s fully built it’ll look more real but with the way the forged carbon looks idk
