What we really need, is a kit of the Huracan GT3
Yep. Maybe contact Aoshima or Nunu.
Hi Thomas, these are very nice kits from Aoshima. To avoid orangepeel i do the next. Lower the pressure untill 15-16 psi and overthin the clearcoat a bit. 3 mist layers, 2 middle or semi wet coats and 1 wet coat. Then you get a very nice even clearcoat what needs very little sanding.Specialy when you use Mr Hobby Leveling thinner or adding a bit retarder on the thinner you are using.
Thank you Jan. Good tips
That Huracan came out looking great there Thomas 👍🏼 I'm sure all the hints you gave will be useful to me, especially the windows ones. Well done 😊👍🏼
Thanks so much, Karl. Your one looks great so far!
Great looking build on what to me looks to be a pretty finicky kit. Thanks for sharing your hard work as always Thomas!
Thanks a lot mate. Glad you liked it
That Huracan looks like a super well engineered kit, great review and build Thomas!
Thanks my friend. I would say the only criticism I have with the kit is no proper window masks.
Another great build you done there Thomas 👍
Thank you Chris
Absolutely lovely build, Aoshima can be over designed but this one looks like a better one for fit and parts count, well done and model on
Thanks, Sarah Jane. It did seem very efficient if that makes sense. The only left over parts I had were the spare number plates!
Very nice looking build
Many thanks!
Really useful video on how this goes together Thomas. Finished result looks superb too 👏👏
Cheers, Simon. Good luck with your LBWK Lambo too
@@BOABModels thanks Thomas 😃👍
lovely build 👍👍
Thanks for the kind words
Very nice build.👍 I would love to add this kit to my collection.😊
Many thanks! If you do plan to get one from Kent Models, don't forget to use my discount code!
I have a 1/43 Huracan that I got as a surprise Christmas present that is still on the ever growing to-do pile haha. Really nice job on this one, it looks great! I used your code when I ordered some paints last time by the way 👍
Thanks a lot, mate. I'm glad the code came in use and enjoy your Lambo too.
Great video as usual! I noticed you used only coarse compound (red one). I thought all 3 must be used to achieve good finish? I am just learning to use them as I started building cars, have built WW2 models for decades and they didn't have such glossy finishes 😆 Well a few US planes were metal but I never built those as I think they look weird without camo 😂
Thank you! I did use the other compounds, but didn't show it all. I find polishing boring so don't include the full process in my videos!
@@BOABModels ok thanks for clarifying 😃
No worries.
If you're looking to try wet sanding and polishing, I recommend first trying out on something you aren't afraid to make mistakes with. Maybe a plastic spoon or a part from the spares box. I got a cheap kit to test on which really helped. Good luck!
