Really enjoying the vlog format and was in agreement with the feedback for more phone thoughts. Another thought that I've had is that it would be interesting to see the 4 photo comparison like you're doing, but then a full screen one of each. Maybe even fade one out into the next image so we can see the finer differences in real time. But that being said, seriously, great videos.

Great video. I have the global version of this phone with 128gb of storage and 8 gb of ram. Camera tech is identical to Verizon phone. From my experience and looking at your comparison photos. This phone's camera is comparable to other mid tier/flagship phones released last year. This is why Nokia priced it at $699. usd. I purchased mine at $399. usd. Most people who criticize this phone has never seen or used it. Marketing makes people think only Apple, Samsung and Google make good cameras....not true. I enjoy my underated gem here in the USA.
This one of the most practical videos I have seen. As a consumer, I don't give a flying rat about what chipset is in there or what you can do under water but I love how you have captured this. It makes for a real day. Of course, you could add some bit on daily tasks etc and how they handle but otherwise, very cool video. I am very tilted to buy this and I love the snapshot comparisons too with phones I am pegging this one against. Thank you.

At this point I could really watch you just visiting places and filming with your camera and drone. But yeah, I think that just talking about the battery and the camera is sufficient, if I want to know more about the device and see it reviewed I'll check Marques, Jaime and Fisher anyways. What really hooked me up to your videos was the different approach and the focus on the places you visit. It's food for my soul in these challenging times. Really good stuff man.

I love these travel vlogs as tech reviews style! Especially since most of us are starved for travel content. The Nokia camera are kinda terrible though.
I have to say that though I generally prefer shots from Pixel 5, iPhones have come very far in terms of stills. The dynamic range and colour reproduction on the latest iphones seems very very competitive Also, LG's camera, though still not up there, and hanging in going shot to shot in decent lighting conditions, which is great

Pictures look good from it, but my god that is some of the roughest video I've seen from a phone in a long time. Oh and seeing the night pics I even take back the pictures look good bit. I think I had better quality shots all round on my old Nokia 7 Plus.

I'd say in terms of a whole video, the time spent in _'vlog'_ and _'device opinions'_ is about right, definitely an improvement! Appreciate how you explained your slight bias against the heft of the Pro Max, having just tested the Mini. That said, I was thinking more along the lines of making smaller remarks as you are using the device out and about, in the _real world_ , so that it blends together with the 'vlog' portion of the video. For example, mentioning how you felt about the stabilization _right as you were filming_ around the Yale campus. Less of really sitting down and doing a proper side-by-side with between devices -- yes, it's less objective and accurate, but other tech reviewers are already doing that (to an extent), and well...you don't really do that as a normal user in the real world! My apologies if this seems like a tall order, I understand that there are situations where you really _do_ need to set aside some time to give a proper preamble / lead-in / context for the device, and many viewers also appreciate/prefer the additional clarification. I get that it's also unnatural to be doing on-the-go remarks sometimes -- you might be occupied with social interactions, some things just can't be felt/measured/judged in-the-moment. Maybe there wasn't that much to comment on, and the phone genuinely just felt natural or nondescript to use, and that's fine too! Again, just my humble opinions, and they are minor (personal) nitpicks with the format -- if you and/or other viewers disagree or find them too hard to implement, feel free to ignore! To answer your last question: it depends on the phone. Sometimes you don't really need to focus on the phone too much, like this phone. For a phone like the LG Wing it is nice to learn more about the device than less.

Honestly, it depends on the trip but right now everything is super expensive on the weekends around here (because so many people are doing weekend trips from NYC because of covid and as driving is considered safer than flying) so I just try and go on the weekdays to save money (sometimes to my detriment though as you can see in this video lol)

First of all, i have to agree with other comments that this format is great. We need more real world tests rather than stupid synthetic tests and benchmarks that do not really tell that much. Well in here where i live, Nokia 8.3 and Galaxy FE are at the same price, and Samsung has few advantages. When there is no light, the difference between nokia and Samsung is massive. Other than that, Nokia performer really good in better conditions. As a Nokia fan, i feel pity that they are not that competetive

Not an issue with the cameras as long as we get RAW capture option. Does the Nokia have RAW capture?
