I've never heard anyone call it a "pitch in". We call it a potluck! So funny!
Designate a shelf in the family area that is "the library shelf". Library books are not allowed to go out of sight from there. Make a list each time you check some out (if they don't print a receipt) and keep it there too. (In one of those clothespin animal note holder things?) Write BOOKS DUE on the family calendar on the right date. My 2 cents. :D

The basic Amazon wagon is on sale for around $94 but I got mine for $10 at a yard sale. I use it strictly for groceries so there are truly wagons at every cost. Mine also fold up for storage.

Yes to the library!!! I didn’t have the idea of taking my little one until maybe about 2 years ago and now we go twice a week. I just cleaned under her bed today and found the first book we ever checked out that we keep “renewing” whoops. 😅 I guess she liked it so much she slept with it and it fell through the crack of the bed and the wall. Melts my heart to think about. ❤

The slider recipe is one of my favs! A great option for Easter ham leftovers. I never cut the Hawaiian rolls before I make them. I just cut the sheet of rolls in half, make the sandwiches, and cut them after they are baked. Saves so much time!

YES to the Kay Ali Juicy Apple -- that's a great scent! And you're right -- it's excellent for layering; nice with citrus scents for spring/summer ... but my year-round favorite is Replica By the Fireplace, and the two of them together = a spectacular alchemy. ❤☺
Mississippi Sirens are tested at noon on the first Monday of the month.
Geocaching is very much still a thing! You should do it with your girls! I only do historic and interesting caches and it’s really nice to have a family friendly hobby that brings you to interesting/historic places and teaches you something new.

I find the Missha comes out gray in the beginning but as it oxidizes adjusts to your skin tone... obsessed with korean bb creams they know what they are doing with bb cream! ❤❤❤ love the fall vibes ❤ I have been looking for an affordable wagon will check that one out
My favorite thing to use for adult coloring is nice juicy gel pens. They are easy to use and it makes such a vibrant picture. 😊
Jess if you love going to fall fairs/pumpkin patches and you've never heard of or been to Lark Ranch in greenfield, IN I highly recommend. They have all the fair food stands, train ride, lots of kid friendly activities, animals and a mini carnival for kids. And all you pay is admission to get in. One of our favorite fall things to do.

Geocaching is still a thing and it’s an app!! Super fun to do with kids. My 8 year old has love to do it for a couple years now! Whenever we travel somewhere even if it’s close we look to see if there’s caches and it’s like a big scavenger hunt. You guys would LOVE it.

We use the same dog feeding thing but I used the 3M strips to put it on the dog food container so we actually remember to tick it off! It helps so much
Our tornado sirens are the 1st Wednesday of the month at 11am. Marking the book, stellar idea. I love that!!
So.Missouri here…Siren tests are Wed. 10 a.m. That wagon is so great. You all will get years of use from it. I so agree about taking the moments for you. Life is nuts and we need to be the keepers of our sanity. 😊💕🍁

What's a siren test? Like what do they do? - a very confused Canadian 😅
We have a (very loud) siren test every day at noon. We live in a very small town with a volunteer fire and emergency service, so the siren test is to make sure that the siren is working, should they need to suddenly summon our volunteer emergency workers. I’m not sure why they have to do it every single day, though 😀
Your sirens are tested every week?? I live in Missouri too and ours are tested on the first Monday of the month.
Growing up in IL, we had a test every first Tues of the Month 10:00 am. Here in NY I don’t recall any?
I mix the misha bb cream shade 23 with a little of the 27 and it’s perfect. The 23 alone is a tad gray for me.

Laughing Cow- I make wraps and spread the spicy laughing cow on a tortilla and add lunch meat and bell peppers. It’s so good!
Our sirens are tested at noon on Wednesdays in Central Arkansas. We have a Larktale one. I needed one for my son who has special needs and can’t walk a lot as well as the baby. It holds up to 100 lbs on each side of the wagon. It wasn’t cheap, but it was super worth it for us. This one you guys have looks really neat, too!

My daughter and family....(two little girls too, 4 yrs old and 2 yrs old).....they loved it, even though unfortunately the weather wasn't that great! So fun to see you guys there enjoying all the things we did too!! We only live 10 mins from Conner Prairie...we are members too!
Central Illinois our emergency test day is the first Tuesday of the month. Also, hubster is retired and watches our 2 year old grandson during the day. They walked to the library today for toddler time ❤

In Iowa our sirens go off at 9am the first Wednesday of the month. I think the wagons these days are amazing and I wish there were so many options when my 8 and 10 year old were younger.
Flying does a number on my skin every single time! Even if I hydrate extra during the trip.
