i love how you didn't force Flynn to stop explaining/ talk about his "trash can". You were patient and active in your listening then he eventually came to join you when he was ready (which wasn't that long of a delay). It's so amazing that you really know your son and how you accept that he doesn't do things rhat you love your way and in your time. And how u never belittle him or make him feel like his stuff is less important.

Of course he does! She’s mentioned it before but she says she doesn’t really film those moments, I think for his privacy and that primarily she wants to focus on him and making him feel better if he’s having a bad day and not record that
I was a NICU Mama and had to go back afterwards to have my baby boy have a hernia surgery as well. When he was in surgery it felt like an eternity. I've never felt such fear and sadness in my entire life. My heart goes out to you, Colleen ❤️❤️❤️.
I just have to say watching Flynn just makes me smile! The toddler years/preschool years were the best. My kids are all adults now so it just brings me back watching him. Thank you for putting a smile on my face!

Honestly, I am not an adult/parent, but this really gives me an insight into the real world. It is so amazing to see Colleen’s journey and to hear her experiences. It really makes me upset to see Colleen upset and I am such a big supporter. Colleen is honestly such an amazing person and when I watch Colleen’s vlogs I understand much more about the world and what it is like to be a twin mom. As an adult and parent, this is not real world. Most adults struggle financially and do not live in mansions. Most children do not have parents who are home with them 24/7. Single parents that have children in daycare see their kids only an few hours on weekdays. Most people work 40 + hours a week away from their children. This is not reality for most.

Thank you for sharing your perspective, I was a NICU baby who then at 6 months needed a Sagittal Synostosis surgery (a head surgery) and then the upkeep going into my childhood it was really nice to see from the mom side to see what my mom could’ve feeling throughout the experiences.

Led it wasn’t an emergency, emergencies can’t wait to sort insurance out. If it can wait it isn’t an emergency. And also it could still be a circumcision because it can cause issues with soreness and peeing etc when the foreskin is too tight. Or maybe an undescended testicle(my son had that). Either way I agree his story to tell but not some huge operation.

Colleen I remember when my bubby was teething and the dentist said if we went thru the pain babies do getting there first tooth we would be in hospital on strong pain relief. I never forgot that. Poor little Wes that’s so young. So happy the surgery went well and you can finally breathe without having to worry about that. I’m not a mom, I’m a teenager, I’m 15 but I do take care of a toddler for the majority of every day, I do have some people helping me. Her parents aren’t the best so I stepped in to care for her, but it’s not always easy because outside of school, helping around the house, and taking care of my baby I don’t have much time to myself, and recently my mom just had surgery so I have been caring for her too, and watching your videos makes me feel like I’m not alone. I love you Colleen, thank you for sharing your struggles and for being strong enough to share them.
Whew! I'm so glad to hear that Wesley's surgery is over and that it went well! I had been waiting for an update and was so happy to see that there was one today. @@sup.im.angelina no way, if I had to guess I'd guess an umbilical hernia. circumcisions are not an overnight stay surgery type of thing.
@@sup.im.angelina she mentioned that he had to undergo a hip ultrasound in a previous vlog. He probably had a hernia repaired(premature infants have a higher chance of developing them)

This one started out with me in tears…then, happy laughing tears at Flynn’s adorable manners…and…back to teething tears! Well…at least they aren’t teething at the same time! Parenting is hard…thank YOU for the love for what we all go through. Some similar to your experiences and some different…we all need to love each other for our collective parenting struggles. Colleen I remember when my bubby was teething and the dentist said if we went thru the pain babies do getting there first tooth we would be in hospital on strong pain relief. I never forgot that. Poor little Wes that’s so young. So happy the surgery went well and you can finally breathe without having to worry about that. I’m not a mom, I’m a teenager, I’m 15 but I do take care of a toddler for the majority of every day, I do have some people helping me. Her parents aren’t the best so I stepped in to care for her, but it’s not always easy because outside of school, helping around the house, and taking care of my baby I don’t have much time to myself, and recently my mom just had surgery so I have been caring for her too, and watching your videos makes me feel like I’m not alone. I love you Colleen, thank you for sharing your struggles and for being strong enough to share them.

Whew! I'm so glad to hear that Wesley's surgery is over and that it went well! I had been waiting for an update and was so happy to see that there was one today. I just love Flynn, he is such a sweetheart and is so polite! He thanked his Momma for moving so he could sit down, then he made sure to thank her for giving him all the stickers. On top of that, Flynn is hilarious!
"Teeth Tamer" from the company Earthley is AMAZING for teething babies!! It was a major lifesaver for my little one
I am so so glad that Wesley's surgery went well. I can't imagine how hard that must be as a parent but you and Erik are doing the right thing and he will recover and be the best boy!
